The tweet was in pretty poor taste. Rangoli was calling for capital punishment for some people with Covid who were getting violent (as was in the news) and their apologists in the media. Rangoli's Twitter account was reported and suspended.

Kangoli have supported the CAA. Rangoli decried the protests against it and IMO with good reason as look at how the Delhi protests ended. Rangoli was vocal then about how the masses were being incited to protest.

Kangana has recently clarified her stance on Pakistan and she had said something similar during the time of 'Manikarnika' as well.

The thing with genocide is that it doesnt happen overnight. Its not a single event where people decide at 8 am okay lets kill members of X community by 10. It brews over a long period of time. Hate mongering and jingoism go on and on until one tiny thing becomes the last straw and violence erupts. Godhra is an example. Can any one of us say all that was done to Muslims in Gujarat was the direct result of that single event of setting that train on fire( whoever did that ) ? India is going through that phase of being readied for a genocide or even a mini genocide with all the hate mongering thats going on . Not that it never happened before but now we have mainstream news channels outdoing each in hate speech or paranoia day after day . Branding anyone who disagrees with the powers that be as 'anti national' ..Pak sympathisers. People are being made to think in terms of Us vs Them .

Thats where Kangana comes in. With her own brand of paranoia . Calling people names for not agreeing with her. Calling people anti national for not being 'patriotic' enough. My country this my army that. All the Bollywood stereotypes of what love for ones country should be like. She oils the propaganda machine that tries to generate hate against Muslims. She tries to play up that narrative of Hindus being the underdog by making random parallels about people from Bollywood being 'ashamed of their own culture". She calls everyone who voices criticism a secessionist. Thats a damgerous trend that had already been going on. Only that Kanganas mainstream popularity as a Hindi film star adds fuel to all this. (Which is exactly why she has been chosen to do this job. She poses as the poster girl for the average middle class Indian who reached great heights but remained true to her roots,her 'culture'. When shes anything but that. Its like a Suraj Barjatiya film..it sells) .

Creating a culture of jingoism and low tolerance for dissent is a recipe for things like genocide. Whether it happens or not. Lets hope it doesnt. The more people get away with yelling dissenters into silence the more they ll indulge in hate speech. And the more difficult it would be to call that out. Before we know we are in deep shit.Kangana does this day in and day out. So she isquite anti national . With her millions of followers spreading the good word.. its a hot mess. Also about differentiating attacks, for me attacks are attacks be it on her or er fans or someone else's fans, you cannot say one attack is right and the other wrong. But remember innocent people die first in any war. War causes a lot of damage to any country involved in it. Many nations in Africa have been in war like stage for over a century. Their economy and society has been completely destroyed by it. I do not want something like this happening among our neighbors. India would not be able to bear refugees from another country. My parents have seen the effects of Bangladesh independence and my late grandmother has seen the communal violence during partition and effects of Indo China war.

Its great to love your country but think about the future also. India should not go on a war now. Any use of nuclear weapon will destroy the world. Many countries will join and camps will be created. World War 1 and 2 killed enough people. One ended with Spanish flu and another with cold war. There is a reason we have international diplomacy.

Sorry for long lecture I am against any war right now.

One of my friend's father lost his life during Kargil War. I know people who worked in hotels during Mumbai attacks of 2008. They are quite popular in the industry.

Actually India would have gone on a war.....look at the conditions.....corona cases on rise...unemployment on the rise, GDP ka kachumar nikla hua hi, natural calamities......but sadly what has been gripping the nation is Sushant's death....so people are engrossed in that....no one is thinking about other issues.....do u think that people like Arnab and Kangna are talking about Sushant because of the goodness of their heart?? If Arnab and Kangna care so much for the country.....where are the debates on unemployment, GDP, corona deaths, flood....are these not important enough issues for the country....samjha karo....its diversion tactics....mandir tha...fir sadly Sushant's death is being used shamelessly and once its over.....there will be a war..to take the attention of the people away from real issues....don't you see the pattern??

No we do not need an actual war in the middle of wuhan virus. We are already fighting a war against a pandemic.
