First Episode- My Take

Since years,we all have heard how people get crazy with fairness. Same happens with the protagonist of the story here.

Mayura,before she was born, her grandmother desired her to be pretty,fair just like Rasmalai and when she was born, everyone knew that she will bloom into a beautiful lady.

The challenges what she faces due to her beauty is not unknown to anyone in real life. There are some sick minded people who dare to exploit beautiful girls.

And there is Mayura who thinks her beauty is a curse.

I liked the way her life was portrayed in an entire episode, thr actors did well their job.

Mayura's parents are progressive and supports her .

What saddened me is her sister, don't know how many taunts she had to bear because she was Mayura's sister. This show the mentality that people are so obsessed with fair skin and Mayura's sister is actually beautiful. Her skin glows but people fail to see that.

Coming to the male protagonist, not much is shown about him but seeing the precap,one can assume that he is bewitched by Mayura.

Overall,the episode was interesting to watch and I didn't felt bored once. One can definitely watch it.

I'm not against mayura's sister. She has to face all the taunts throughout her life from family members and outsiders. The story is different and it is portraying what most of the people in india thinks about skin colour.

Her anger is justified. She had to bear so much since Mayura was born and she definitely doesn't hate her sister. Its just her anger.
