he knew it when he saw her hand. he wasnt even shocked when mahira came out after completion of wedding rituals. he hugged preeta first and vase was thrown after that.

He says that he hates Preeta when he is in Mahesh's room. He throws away Preeta's earring when Sameer and Shrishti come to the window. Then Rishabh comes there too and goes into the room. That moment Karan asks Rishabh "Won't he say him not to marry".

So between "I hate Preeta" and this question to Rishabh he was always in front of Sameer, Shrishti and Rishabh.
