There is no logic to the story.

Even during the first Komo track they ended up showing that Anu married Komo for absolutely nothing. If Moloy had not come out of coma for those 2 minutes, Anu probably would never have married Komo. But when Moloy came out of coma for those 2 minutes Anu assumed that Moloy wanted to do the deal with Komo's father & also wanted him to marry Komo. He believed everything Komo told. He believed that their company was in trouble. But when the track was over he came to know that Moloy never wanted him to marry Komo & he also came to know that their company was never in trouble in the first place. Komo had manipulated the shares & shown him wrong reports.

At the end of this track too I will not be surprised if they show that Viraj is actually alive. These writers are very much capable of showing that. They will show that Viraj is alive & Anu blindly believed Komo & ainvayi throwed Prerna in river.

This is how the writers bring Kasauti in leads lives by making them more dumb than the villans. Prerna gets fooled by Bajaj & Anu gets fooled by Komo. The villains in this show are dumb but to show them as shaatir the writers show the leads dumber than them.

As far as self-defense case is concerned, yes it was a clear case of self-defense since Prerna was 9 month pregnant & she was shot & hospitalized. In the video that Komo showed one could clearly see that Viraj was pointing gun. Also they had video about zabardasti marriage. Plus Anu had evidence that Viraj was a fraud with multiple ids. So yes it was a case of self-defense if Anu would have hired a good lawyer. Also he had all evidence against Komo about Rajesh's murder, Moloy's accident so he could have sent her to jail. She was a fugitive who had killed a police officer. If only the writers had some common sense.

And even if Anu had no hopes of saving Prerna he could have just taken Veena in confidence & pretended to 'not' accept Sneha as his baby and asked Veena to take Prerna away. He could have even brought some fake DNA reports & asked Prerna to leave their house. Atleast that way she would have left & would be safe with her family. This approach would have been so much better that throwing her from Howrah. But agar aisa karte to writers Bajaj ko kaise laate?

@Bold : here lies the answer they wanted to make grand entry of supposed to be knight in shining armor 😆 but things went bad after hero act so they had to turn back to majboor anurag just like how anukom marriage was disliked so they came with prerna basu.
