I wasn't expecting it. But when Riddhu started talking to Mrs Dsouza I started feeling it could be a trap. And lo and behold next scene Dsouza reports to vansh.

I feel Dsouza is not very bad. She was warning Riddhima to drop the topic and forget about Ragini. Even when she reported to vansh she was looking scared. Like she was actually worried for Riddhu.

Definitely... That would be a good twist as currently she is really annoying with her stupidity.

So, if all this is a part of a bigger plan, then we can at least praise her that she acted like a stupid, naïve girl very well unlike now when we are getting irritated with her stupidity.
