Mugdha Chapekar reveals a secret about the lesser-known Gucci Gang on the sets of Kumkum Bhagya

MUMBAI: With the lockdown gradually lifting and people across the country stepping out into the new normal, Zee TV resumed shoots of its shows and it reconnected its audiences with the journeys of their beloved characters from 13th July. Kumkum Bhagya, which has been one of the most popular shows on the channel, also offered a rather interesting twist to its viewers after its comeback and has won their hearts once again. But little does anyone know about the emotional reunion that took place on the sets of the show post Lockdown.

The cast of Kumkum Bhagya including Mugdha Chapekar, Sriti Jha, Krishna Kaul, Aparna Mishra and Zeeshan Khan are quite close. While they started shooting in June itself, it was only in late July that all the cast members started shooting together. Earlier, some of the cast members were shooting separately as much as possible to keep contact with people at the bare minimum. But with some interesting sequences coming up, all the stars came together and the lesser-known Gucci Gang from the Kumkum Bhagya set had a mini reunion. Yes, the popular TV series’ cast members have a small group called the Gucci Gang and the reason for its unique name is quite intriguing.

Talking about the reunion, Mugdha Chapekar who plays the role of Prachi in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya revealed, “Meeting everyone after the Lockdown was really emotional and we all were ecstatic at the Gucci Gang’s reunion. Not a lot of people know but our Gucci Gang is a close-knit, 5-member team including myself, Krishna Kaul (Ranbir), Sriti Jha (Pragya), Zeeshan Khan (Aryan) and Aparna Mishra (Shahana). We all chill together on the set whenever we are shooting and this Friendship’s Day, we had a blast celebrating together.”

Speaking about the unique name, Mugdha further added, “Krishna and Zeeshan started calling us the Gucci Gang after hearing the song of the same name by Lil Pump. It was a song that we used to play a lot in our vanity vans when it was released! It also kind off became our secret password, so yeah, we keep having some or the other fun on the set of Kumkum Bhagya and that’s how we keep going, especially in such testing times.”

While the stars keep entertaining each other, wait till you see the twists and turns in the life of Abhi, Pragya, Ranbir and Prachi in the upcoming episodes.

Yeah. Some jail scenario I guess. But why? Prachi has been proven innocent right? Then who is gonna go to jail?

We got a damn good Pranbir hug. And a chotu sa Arbir scene which will be continued in 21st. Also Rhea actually said she would not want anything if she got Prachi's mom and that Prachi's mom is better than Aliya too. I was shocked. Really. I have a feeling that maybe Rhea will let go of her obsession with Ranbir if her mom returns in her life. Aliya got one nasty shock after the other. 😆 The promo thing happened. Also, Pallavi's apology didn't feel much sincere unlike Vikram and Dida and she was the most vociferous one. So, she should have apologized profusely. And also Prachi forgave just like that. 😡 I have started hating Pallavi. 😡

Now her motives about prachi aren't just for Rhea but for her own selfish goals as well and she'd actively try and separate abhi and prachi as well. Because so far it's clearly shown that aliya doesn't really care about the other niece. Although she was curious in the hospital so let's see. Hopefully next track will be about Aliya purab and Aryan and why she is so against pragya coming back other than the obvious reasons. So either she is once again protective of abhi because of how pragya accused him for Kiara's death or there's some other reason and she is afraid pragya will find expose her. I am watching it only for pranbir but would be nice if there's good development in the overall plotline and Aryan's life as well

Maya is still there. She appeared in tomorrow's episode for a few minutes. I guess they are gonna wrap that track up in hurry. I just hope Prachi is the one to save the day.

Yes, Aliya knowing about Prachi is really something huge. Now she can try and keep Prachi away from her dad and the twins' mom away from Rhea. I too don't think Aliya cares much about her other niece. I remember she said in that diwali episode that her other niece can snatch away Rhea's happiness. So, I am not having much expectation from her. I just hope they don't show her actively trying to harm Prachi now that she knew Prachi is her blood relative. That would make Aliya ott villainous.

She did say that the twins' mom will take over every facet, may it be home or business. So may be that insecurity is there. And also somehing is fishy regarding Aryan. I remember her blackmailing Purab with it when Purab wanted to leave her.

I too am watching just for Pranbir but overall development will be good.

Abhi unknowingly encouraged Rhea's madness saying "jo tumhara hai wo bas tumhara hi hai". Ab isko kaun samjhaye Ranbir is not her

When Rhea said she'll want nothing else if she gets Pragya I was like ok please take her & leave Pranbir alone😆

Maybe that was not Sanjus goon but actually Ranbirs plan😔? I kind of feel there is more to it.
