The one time I didn't root for Pranati

Yesterday's episode was just so emotional, and I felt that the actors just nailed it. And so far, Pranati has been my most favourite character on the show, though I've loved Kunal as an actor from a long time.

But in today's episode, if there was one thing that I didn't agree with, it was the way Pranati treated Archit.

I can understand that she's a mother whose child has been kidnapped and she is distraught, but come on... Reyansh said that it might be Archit and she just accepted it? Wasn't Archit the one who always helped her when it came to Jugnu's custody case and everything? Hasn't she known him for years? And she calls him her best friend. How can she just believe Reyansh, the man who got her pregnant and ditched her. The man who just manhandled her and tried to ruin her image? Like... how?

Okay... even if she couldn't think straight because Jugnu was missing, she could have gone to his place and asked him if he was involved, and left it at that. No she didn't. Even after Archit denied it, she still suspected him!

Archit in a way was right. Even though he kept saying that he was innocent, she didn't listen to him or stop Rey, the only time she listened was when he said he did kidnap the child.

And no... contrary to popular opinion, Archit didn't deserve the slap. And that dialogue, "Ek maa ke feelings ke saath kabhi mat khelna." is true, but I don't think she gets to say that, because she brought it upon herself. She was the one who didn't listen to Archit, though he was telling her the truth.

And no... Pranati did not do right by Archit, and no matter what her reason was for leaving him, the way she executed it was not right. In a way, she did behave like the Khurranas - and it doesn't matter if she did it to save him the heartbreak, because she broke his heart, and she still continues to do so anyways.

And trust me, I'm a huge PraYansh fan. But that doesn't mean that I agree with their behaviours and acts, no matter what their reason is.

This is just my opinion. Tell me if you guys agree with me or not.

Completely agree with everything you just said. But I guess she was just trying to not rule out any possibilities and chances as it is her daughter at the end of the day. And she never thought archit would manhandle her and he did that. These aren't great excuses but I guess this is why she did what she did and no even I don't think he deserved that slap. A guy who stood by her always, atleast if she couldn't love him she could have respected him the least

But she did the dumbest thing ever, pretending like she moved on with Rey. And Archit literally caught her faking. Like c'mon!! Reyansh broke her heart brutally, betrayed her & left her when he needed the most. Anyone can guess Pranati is pretending to forgive him.

I felt bad the most when he said Khuranas did wrong with Navya. I don't feel bad for Navya tbh. I feel bad for Archit because he's hurt for his sister.

I can understand that she was trying to rule out possibilities, and I didn't like the fact that he manhandled her either. But the fact is that, at the end of the day, it was this man who wanted to help her win the custody case when he didn't even have to be involved. And she was the one who led him on and broke him.

@ bold - YES! Someone said it. He deserves to be respected at least.

Exactly! I don't understand why all of Ekta's leads have to pretend to break someone's heart in order to ensure that the other person doesn't have to suffer with them and move on!

@bold - oh yes! And based on his words, she directly came to accuse Archit when Reyansh said it was him, that too without any solid proof. It wasn't Archit who told Pranati that he'll do anything and everything to ruin her... it was her precious Reyansh Khurrana.

Exactly! Bechara Archit. I would never forgive her for doing this if I were in her place. I hope we do get a confrontation scene between Archit and Pranati too. Just like how Reyansh should really work hard to obtain Pranati's trust and forgiveness, Pranati should also work to obtain his friendship.

Props to this post, I did not watch the episode, I read the written update, If one character that PraYansh have not done by is Archit, He is the last person who should be getting so much shit from them. Pranati dumped him hard without having a proper conversation. Reyansh insulted him because of Pranati and then Armaan dumped a pregnant Navya.

So if anyone has a right as Pranati said earlier,

"usse mujhse nafrat karne ka haq hei, mujhe nahi"

I hope she remembers that and lives upto it.
