I handed in my Writers' Feedback tonight, and it made me realized that I never made a formal comment on this thread in regards to the Story Round.
So, here it is. 😆
First and foremost, a HUGE THANK YOU to Shreya for organizing this bomb ass game and piquing my interest to joining it.
When we were first given this task I was simultaneously excited, as well as apprehensive. Excited, because I love writing, and would have loved to participate in the round. Apprehensive, because I didn't know my teammates too well, what their strengths were, was shy in voicing my opinions or desire to participate, as well as what working with the Slytherins may be like since I didn't know anyone from the team.
Won't get into all the itty gritty details here, but I can confidently say that more than Round One, it was Round Two that allowed me to bond with the Hufflepuffs.
Among the daily games and puzzles that we would play (with Tani beating us all pretty much single handedly), to the wildly insane roleplay we had about IMMJ2 (and let's be real, we hands down created a superior show), to the varied talks we would have about Bollywood to ITV - we all became legit besties. ❤️
In a way, it is our own little Hogwarts experience. A little awkward at first, but then get super close because of how much we had to interact with each other.
In regards to the Slytherins, I obviously didn't get to interact with everyone. I only had the honors of talking to Shiri, WD, and Sammy - and I'm saying this from the bottom of my heart, I couldn't have found better teammates than y'all. So chill, absolutely batshit crazy, but also so damn hilarious! So I'm not surprised that the final version of our story turned out like this - it just fits both the teams' personalities so well!
(P.S. I'm actually glad that we didn't go with the makkhi idea now. 🤣)
The final product turned out so incredibly well, and that's largely because of you WD. From the color coding, to the arrangement of the gifs, to the final surprise of actually being graced with ASR's presence - it was all fantastic! So thank you SO much for compiling it altogether. 🤗
Sammy, I miss you and your crazy ass stories so much girl. 🤗 And just seeing your posts, and gifs lowers my BP. You're legit my chill pill. 😆
To Shiri, although we didn't talk much, I still remember you as being nothing but incredibly sweet, and kind. Hope to interact with you again someday too. 🤗
To the Slytherin Editors: never met you, but thank you for your contribution and for making this story what it is today. 🤗
To the Slytherin team: Whatever the outcome for this round, thank you for helping us to create this beautiful story. It is most definitely something that we should be proud of. 🤗
To Babua: Thank you for creating a legit timeline, and making sure that we all stayed on track. You being there in our every conversation, gave me a lot of confidence to not just speak up, but also just feel nice knowing that someone's got my back.
To Shruti: You were also a silent member from our side, but every suggestion, and feedback you made were so precious and valuable - I can't thank you enough for them.
To ALL our editors: Yes, every single one of you, I can't thank you ENOUGH. The patience you had in answering our biggest to smallest questions, checking over our every single line, word, comma, and period - just thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.
You all know how senti I got the day it was posted, but trust me when I say I am SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of EVERYTHING we have put out there. I could NOT have asked for a better team than you all.
MAD LOVE to you all!
P.S. I know I left out a LOT, but for now, itna kaafi hai. 😆

Thanks for sharing your experience. At the end of the day this is what matters! M. must be so happy reading about it. Any host hosting a game would love that their efforts seeped into everyone enjoying and bonding together rather than fighting. The game is kind of like an Ice-breaker between so many people scattered over IF. And for each one of us, how do we want to reminisce our Hogwarts experience once it over? do we want to remember the fights or the gala time we had. Yours sounds so amazing like similar to school, first day awkwardness to now there are so many besties. 😆
The highlight of this game so far for me was the last night. I am still not over the fact that I and many others overlooked something so obvious right in front of our eyes.🤣(I hope M. also some how selectively remembers the hilarity part and not the aftermath).
😊
I think this was a double post ... so enjoy a picture of Ileana to brighten our days.
Meri bhi ha hain papa. 🤣🤣🤣
I was meaning to do the same too, but I think you summed it up perfectly.
Since you didn't mention yourself I'll do that (no jokes), and the rest I'll summarize in a few words.
Gurleen: Your hardwork and continued leadership both in the Slytherpuff chat and our House chat was one of the things that contributed to SlytherPuff getting along so welland our writers and editors chugging along. I think when we work with new partners, there's always that initial awkward phase where you don't know what to say or how to say or what to do because you don't want to start off on a wrong foot (at least that's how I am). SlytherPuffs were very warm and kind, but I think everyone (myself and Shruti included of course) was a bit hesitant on figuring out how to start our discussions. But you were an excellent partner that really helped make everyone's shared time a lot more efficient and I'm glad you were chosen to be part of the writing team.
At everyone else: I completely agree with Gurleen's words. And the best way to sum everything up:
We love all you Slytherins! You guys are amazing human beings and it was a pleasure to know you and work with you and may our IF paths continue bumping with each other in the future. Hufflepuffs ... I'll save my words for you when the game ends 😆... In the meantime, let's celebrate SlytherPuffs!!

lMAD LOVE to you all!
Aw Gurleen! 😭
That was the nicest and most heartfelt message I have read in a long long time - and believe me I’ve been alive long enough. God how many years has it been? Ah yes ...
I had SO much fun interacting with you guys (minus writing the chapter itself) 😆. Our conversations were hilarious and it even led me to dream about SRK in a cave 🤣
I will also be taking Shyams tree comments to my grave.
Thank you all for being patient and embracing my weirdness without any judgement ❤️
Gurleen, you won’t have to miss me for too long. I’ll always make my presence known by flooding all threads with my gifs. You also have me on messenger so don’t be a stranger.
🤗
Love you!
East or west - Maan/Geet is the best!

You're most welcome, and thank you for your response Zeal! 🤗
I'm not sure if Shreya got around to reading this post, and after what transpired, I understand if she wishes to be removed from anything that reminds her of it. 😆
Oh, absolutely! Similar to how we're closest to our classmates, but still familiar faces around school, and make polite talk - I'm having the exact same experience right now.
Of course the things we end up remembering depends on the intensity of the experience itself. We may not feel the same emotions to the same degree, but they do still linger. But as all things, they also fade away with time. What's more important is that we continue to make new memories that continue to outweigh all the bad ones. 😊
LOLL, that's something that I'll never forget either. 🤣 What's even more hilarious is that in the films, you see the Minions more than anything else as well. Even if you tried, you can't miss 'em. 🤣
