Jodha Akbar had set my screen on fire with the amount of crackling chemistry between the two. The way Akbar’s expression changed to awe when he first saw Jodha’s face is stamped and concreted into my memory.

It must have something to do with them always playing some kind of star crossed lovers who never have a happily ever after. I loved the short glimpses of them in Mohobatein and of course still reeling from the trauma of Devdas and seeing them as siblings in Josh.

I loved, loved, loved them in Dil Ka Rishta. Both looked beyond beautiful together and I was so happy they incorporated the Ekta Kapoor memory loss twist to give them a happy ending 😆

I’ve always preferred Salman and Sonali as an onscreen couple because they will always be Preeti and Prem in my eyes. However, Salman and Aish looked beautiful in HDDCS. The attraction between them really showed. Though I hate the movie with every fibre of my being 🤢
