Context matters, that member would not have said it, if the other member had not said such despicable things about the dead. Had that member said it without provocation, then that would've been a different story.

awww....how cute of you to believe in a rosy future of an industry which is run by private funding as in their own money...and you think that the outsiders who become big and rich enough won't do nepotism and will make their kids stand in line for audition....never going to happen in a million years....I can quote you examples after examples of outsiders who engaged in nepotism.....and I am not saying that its a good thing or bad thing...just saying nepotism is never going to end unless govt takes over...and trust me you wouldn't want to see those movies anyways....sorry....sad but true😭

These pessimistic assessments and status-quo predictions (nothing will change eventually) should NOT be a factor that decide our actions. I hope you also know that the 10+ million dislikes on the trailer were not all by trolls.

This is an online debate being played on a mammoth scale. Nepotism v/s anti-nepotism. Each of us has to choose a side. There are multiple arguments in the arsenal of each side. Also, there are trolls and vile-commenters on both sides.

Even if one role, I repeat, one role were not snatched from the first choice of a director due this movement, that would be a success.

As a film-loving community, it is our duty to spread awareness that nepotism actually impacts the quality of movies. This doesn't include writing abuses, but simply being a sane voice of reasoning for the pros that a reduction in the amount of nepotism will bring. Nobody's asking you to spend hours trolling Alia. But in the few minutes that you take out from your life, you can choose to oppose nepotism. By all means call out those abusing Alia. Again, not for disliking the trailer or dissing her in comments, but for abusing. That should not be allowed, and frankly, it actually weakens the moral hold of this movement. But don't mock people who are opposing nepotism. Pileez.

On topic, Akki is saving his own butt here because his name popped up in Sushant's diary, most likely for stealing a film or something? And he met up with Aditya thakray shortly afterwards which fueled the suspicion he did it to get rid of that diary page. And yes, this sadak outrage probably added to that. Akshay Kumar is shrewd, he is not arrogant enough think he is above any kind of backlash, which is probably his saving grace.
