Wonderful series.. Pls watch it for the superlative performances and delightful music..

Dont go by press reviews.. They r not in sync with the nation's choice.. Special ops and Avrodh also didnt get great reviews but r super popular.. Panchayat was low key but still going strong..

While few overhyped series have fizzled out.

Watch it.. U wont regret

His act is apt for the role.. A traditional guy who is dedicated, knows about the world outside his own small world too, speaks good English( if that matters), is bound by his family's views and conditions..

And his acting prowess lies in the fact that during songs u dont even feel once that someone else is singing.. The difference was visible in one scene where his fiancee sang.

See his insta pics to check if he is really so 'thakela'

Well said! I agree with you on how good Ritwik was in the show! Never did it feel that he’s not singing. Infact I wasn’t very impressed with Shreya who plays Tamanna but Ritwik was damn good.

Also he has a very charming personality offscreen. If anyone’s curious pls do check out his insta, he’s damn cute with his posts! 😁

I'm watching this currently. It's a decent watch for people who have got bored with the incessant violence, sex and abuse in Indian webshows. What is refreshing is that the show is based on classical music.

Agree, it is really a refreshing webshow

I agree with you. His role demands him to be this guy who is deep rooted in cultures and traditions and has to carry this burden of taking his gharana forward. His acting suits the character requirement perfectly👍🏼
