I mean he could have shared a memory or an anecdote with him, after all Sush spent almost an year with him. Sushant admired him so much, he gave his sweat and blood to portray Dhoni onscreen with utmost honesty and sincerity. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. It feels like his death was so insignificant to Dhoni. Chalo if not him then at least Sakshi could have as she is pretty active on SM.

I was also a bit disappointed with Srk's post ( it just felt like he didn't write it himself although maybe I am wrong).

I know Sushant is getting love from so many people all over the world but the people he looked up to and admired the most seem to not care at all and it breaks my heart😔

You can't expect everyone to mourn the same way. Ankita posted after an entire month. Harshad Chopra only commented when he was asked in an interview. Additi Gupta hasn't said anything. Dhoni is barely active on Social Media. The last he posted was back in February. You don't know how someone has mourned a death in real life. Life exists beyond social media. I also find it ridiculous that people were upset with SRK for saying Sushant loved him. What was wrong with that?! That is how SRK remembers him because every time Sushant met SRK, he let him know that he loved him. That stayed with SRK. Sometimes I think Ranbir Kapoor is very smart that he stays away from social media so people don't hold these unnecessary expectations from him.

Sushant was a fan of Dhoni and Shahrukh.. that doesn't really automatically place responsibility on them to say something about him publicly.. he was the fan.. not them.. they do not deserve the bashing and people doing it are only demeaning Sushant's death and nothing else

And that tweet was written by Shahrukh.. he always posts his condolence message according to the thing he remembers most about the person.. like when that lady from Swades passed away, his condolence message was about kaveri Amma and how she used to stop him from smoking.. when one of his teachers had passed away, his message was according to that.. for him, his fondest memory of Sushant was being loved by him... Write or wrong.. that's how he remembers Sushant

Dhoni too doesn't have to post a condolence message publicly.. maybe he is one of those who don't like grieving in Public

I totally get his fans being upset at lack of post from Dhoni or the tweet from Shahrukh.. disappointment I get but bashing I don't.. one has to see from where these people are coming from..

I absolutely agree with you....I am sure that Dhoni must be very upset with what happened with Sushant...but then may be a little something ..just 2 lines for Sushant would have gone a long way for Sushant's family and his genuine fans like u....

About SRK's post....I am 100% sure that it came straight from SRK's heart...may be he was in a bit of shock as he tweeted rather quickly when the news had come out....but I agree...he could have worded it better....but he was really fond of Sushant and Sushant's admiration for him and that is where the tweet came from....but then I absolutely respect the disappointment of genuine fans.....but I would still fight with those who hate SRK and found this as a way to bash SRK using Sushant....these are the kinds of people I oppose...

But Ninny I know who the real fans of Sushant are...and those who are really hurting....and I will always respect their views.

Ok maybe I am wrong about SRK. About Dhoni well I am not hating on him for not saying anything it's just that I am hurt as a fan. I was expecting him or Sakshi to at least post a heartfelt message. They seemed to have bonded well during the making of biopic. Sush still regularly used to post that one video of him playing Dhoni. A little message or a memory of him with Sushant would have made fans like me really happy. But ya I don't blame him. It's ok..just felt bad.
