Agree most of the southern male stars are always related to some filmy family.

😆 the tone of your post suggests that Barjatya ladies stand for something normal, healthy, or desirable in society.

On screen, they're some man's fantasy of a doormat girlfriend/wife/sister/mother.

In reality, those are the moms who raise arrogant brats who go around believing the world owes them, not the other way around. Say like an Alia, Ananya, or Sooraj Pancholi.

So no... not even half a qualm about looking down on such types. Or on Ekta Kapoor MILs.

It looks like you have never received a flying chappal from a Indian mom. If she gave you one, you would not have said these words.

You should never think a typical Barjatya woman or girl is weak. When time comes she can fight and destroy her enemies. I am typcial Barjatya girl. I have actually protested against sexual discrimination against women in work place. Imagine a behenji protesting. What does a modern women does, either ignore it, leave her job or sleep with her boss.

Show me a Barjatya film where the woman protests sexual discrimination😆 One woman who actually has a job or where she actually acts on an opinion contrary to her husband's. Not only are they weak, they're resentful of the modern women😆 for the freedoms they have. Then, they attack the women and try to bring them down (every modern ladki is portrayed as a wh*re in Barjatya movies). Not a single Barjatya woman will be able to deal with the kind of harassment you mention without a hero to ride to the rescue.

And yeah... as I read somewhere before, these are the mera suhaag and mera chirag types for whom even criminality in their children become acceptable. Ex: see Zarina Wahab, Barjatya mom to that awesome human, Sooraj Pancholi.

She deals with rumours of his link-ups with rare detachment. “I don’t question him. I’m not the one to fight. Whatever he does outside is his lookout. Don’t get it home. When he comes home, he’s a good husband, a good father. That’s all that matters,” says she.

This is what she did after Jiah Khan's death. Our Barjatya mom went to the dead girl's mom and when SHE refused to cooperate, Barjatya mom went out and told the media the grieving mom might be doing things for publicity.

Wasn't planning to see it, so no probs.

This is how the role was described: Sonam’s role, on the other hand, was slightly more challenging since her character, the princess Maithili, is an opinionated yet subdued, strong-willed yet docile enough to not voice her opinions too openly, woman – a breeding house of contradictions, it seems.

Someone who finds it necessary to hide her opinions. Yup, a role model, all right.

I am taking about a real Indian woman who is a commoner. Many married woman with kids is mostly docile as she would not like to loose her status in society. It is really difficult for a divorcee woman live in our society.

If Jiah's mother did not involve media for publicity, this case would have gone for toss in the bin. Still there is no investigation for Jiah Khan.

I guess the reason Alia was signed in this was as per Alia herself well she begged Rajamouli on airport or something😆 Rajamouli's side could be a combination of Kjo's sifarish & him wanting to make his film appealing for Hindi film audience, a purpose which currently looks far fetched to come through, considering how badly she has been knocked off her pedestal, besides looking at how the entire cast has already shot for the film and she is yet to even start goes on to prove the earlier news of her role being cameo types only. Even before the hate & boycott campaign against Alia, there was news of her role being removed from the film, which got immediately refuted by her PR filmfare😆

For now South cinema fans are spamming Rajamouli n makers to get rid of her as she might be more of liability for this project, wouldnt be surprised if that's the reason for these random articles😆. Jo bhi ho these type of rumors floating itself is demeaning enough for "numero uno"
