Yes. He said he doesn't want to develop those same feelings which he had buried when he left pre with anurag. Because he knows ki pre doesn't reciprocate those feelings and he doesn't want to lose her.

When he is able to be only her friend again, he'll be back. 😆

But no, in any case today's Bajaj monologues were mainly to reassure audience ki prerna still loves anurag only and bapre relationship is strictly platonic.

He said again today ki prerna main aapko kho nahi sakta. His Funda is clear. It's acceptable to him if he has to be prerna's friend forever and prerna loves anurag forever. As long as she stays with him.

What's unacceptable to him is pre going back to Anurag.
