PART 29

Riya was sweating profusely as she reached in front of the designated room her breathes became faster her hands felt numb when she tried to open the door. However, she collected all the courage left in her and barged in. The scene in the front left her eyes wide open.

Riya: BHABHI!!!

She went near to the person wide awake in front of her. Her eyes were containing happy yet sorrowful tears. She was bewildered when she got the call from the doctor attending her sister-in-law. But the sight in front of her made her the happiest person in the world. She is sad because she can’t answer the questions her sister-in-law would ask her. What answer would she give when her Bhabhi will ask about her husband. What will she answer that she failed to bring back her own brother and she is yet to take revenge for their losses? She was unable to balance both the emotions that were flooding her heart and mind. Keeping all those things aside, she hugged her dearest Bhabhi with all the love she got. She saw her in her conscious state after long 5 years her tears were not in her control and made their ways down her cheeks. Both the ladies were cherishing their reunion.

parting from the bear tight hug both were staring at each other. Suhani had a lot of questions to ask. She doesn't have the courage to ask what her heart was screaming to know because she couldn’t handle the negative response. Those terrifying scenes were still fresh in her mind. Her mind was restricting her to forget it and each and every scene was flashing in front of her eyes.

Suhani’s POV:

{here I’m writing the flashback through Suhani’s POV she is remembering the day when all her happiness was forced to halt. She’ll explain what exactly was that day about}

Flashback

It was a pleasant morning for us as it was our wedding anniversary. I was the happiest lady on the earth on this day as I was married to the man whom I loved dearly. It was our first anniversary. Rahul and I were excited but apart from us, it was Riya who was creating havoc with the preparations. She had done the whole plan for us. Of course, we let her take the lead because she is the dearest one to all. I took blessings from my parent in-laws and started my day with the romantic gesture from my husband. It was perfect. My life was perfect with my dearest ones. Riyaeven called Ayesha who was currently with her grandmother to attend the party. But unfortunately, she would apparently cancel it or would make it late to the party due to her grandmother’s illness. But still, she promised she would try her best to attend the celebration. Everything was going perfect but I observed that my husband Rahul is troubled by something. He wasn’t showing it but as his better half I could figure it out. I decided to ignore it as Rahul was trying his best to ignore it too on this day and I didn’t want to spoil his mood. However, I’m 100% sure that he’ll share it with me later. He is the one who can’t keep secrets from me. So yeah, I was letting it go for the time being. The celebrations soon started in the near night and we were enjoying it to the fullest when suddenly everything turned into a blood pool. Few armed men forcefully entered our property and started ruining everything. They pointed the gun at each and every one of us. Rahul and Riya tried their best to stop them but two people were no match for the bunch of them. That is when the person who pointed the gun at me grabbed me by the hair and dragged me in the middle of the room. I yelped at the pain which shot from the back of my head. Rahul and Riya were forced to stop and few of their men grabbed them too. Rahul was being beaten black and blue and was demanded to give them some memory card which I was not aware of. Rahul was refusing to say anything that is when the man beside me slapped my right cheek. That was their way to force Rahul to provide what they needed. That moron again slapped me and this time it was my left cheek. My face was swollen by their torture. Rahul was enraged and was trying to free himself. Riya was more than helpless she tried getting out their grip but was rewarded by their kicks. She was fighting back but she was outnumbered like Rahul. The man was brutally slapping me and kicking me to the point where I couldn’t handle more. Even my parent-in-law were brutally beaten. I was in immense pain yet was proud of my husband. By this time I understood that the person in front was an officer more than a husband and I was proud that he is adamant to not bend in front of these ba*****ds and this was the sole reason a year back I was so in love with this person. I was brought back into reality by the sharp hit on my head by the butt of the gun and everything in front of me was starting to turn dark. Before I could lose my conscious, I saw my husband was shot and Riya was beaten to the unconscious and the same goes with my parent in-laws. My perfect happy-go family was nowhere happy now and my last thought was maybe this was my end; maybe this is the last time I’m watching my dearest one near me. A lone tear escaped my eye as darkness engulfed me.

Fortunately, or unfortunately here I’m wide awake in a hospital bed surrounding nothing but hollowness and the colourless white walls.

End of Flashback

Suhani was brought back to reality by Riya who understood what she was going through. She knows her Bhabhi desperately wants to know what happened to her husband and she'll suit her by providing the same but first she wants her to settle down in the present as she doesn’t want any complications further. Thanks to Ayesha who arrived late that day and saved Riya and her family. It was then Riya and Ayeshafigured out that a fake body was implanted in place of Rahul’s and that is the start of the case Sultan which lead them to Sikander and now in hunt of that monster of a person Sultan. Riya’s family was not the only family which was ruined that day Asad too lost his only family his mother DIG Sana Khan who was guidingRahul on this case. The same day DIG Sana khan was murdered by Sultan’s men when they were ready to head to Rahul’s anniversary party. Everything was shattered that day many lives were ruined and two happy families have drifted apart from their loved ones. Riya tried calming Suhani who was crying miserably and was put to sleep by medications as she still needs to recover from the shock.

ETF Office:

Sameer and Arjun are seating in Sameer's cabin. They were informed of the good news of Suhani coming out of the coma by their informer who was following Riya on the command of these ACPs. They were quick enough to put the informer behind Riya when they heard of her running off from the office.

Arjun sighing deeply: finally HAMARE DOST RAHUL ki wife SUHANI ko hosh aa gaya.

Sameer nodding acceptingly: Haan! Shukar hai, Suhani thik ho gayi, agar kuch unch neech hojata toh humari galti gunaah ban jati.

Arjun falling back onhis chair : kaash meine thodi aur koshish ki hoti aur uss haiwan ke kartootonko sab ke saamne layi hoti toh aaj bahot saari jindagiyan bach jati.

Sameer put acomforting hand on his shoulder : uss waqt hum kuch nahi kar sakte the Arjun.Hum se joh ban pada humne kiya; yahan tak ki khud saare matter ki jaanch kilekin woh insaan hume chakma de gaya. uss waqt hum unke bholepan ke mukhote sehaar gaye aur hume unke khilaaf koi saboot bhi nahi mili lekin iss baar wohhumse bach nahi paayenge. Iss baar kisi ko bhi apne parwar ko khona nahipadega.

Arjun found a new rage growing in him. He got a sense of betrayal by his own people his mind started recalling each and every moment with that person who ruined so many people’s life.

Arjun banged his handon the table in frustration : woh aise kaise kar sakte hai! Mein unhe kitna mantatha. Jab kisi ne mera saath nahi diya unhone mujhe hosla diya tab unhone mujhehosla diya ek imandaar officer banne keliye. Lekin meine kabhi ye nahi socha kiwoh itne gire hue niklenge. Agar iss baar unhone mere kisi bhi apane ko chotpahonchayi toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.

Arjun faced his best friend eyes filled with tears: unhe pata tha Sam Roshni meri biwi thi lekin fir bhi unhone Sikander ko nahi roka aur kahin na kahi woh bhi mere Roshni ke qaatil hai. Tumhe yaad hai Sameer mere aur Roshani ke anniversary ke ek din pehale jab hum teeno ghar par the woh hamse milne aaye the anniversary wish ke bahane. Aur humse ye kaha ki woh next day out of station rahenge aur hum bewakoof use hi sach maan baite asal mein woh mere ghar par Sikander ke khilaaf joh koi bhi saboot mile the woh pata karne aaye the.

Sameer also couldn’t hold himself: aur jab hum unhe table pe rakhi Sikander ke case ki file padte hue dekha toh unhone hume ye keh ke gumraah kiya ki woh bus gujar rahe the aur file pe nazar padi toh use important soch kar shelf pe rakhna chahte the; aur bewakoofon ki tarah unke jaal mein faste gaye.

Arjun with determination : lekin iss baar nahi Sam. This time he will pay for his sins. Mujhe do minute nahi lagenge unka parda farsh karne mein , lekin uss se bhi jaroori haiRahul ko sahi salamat wapis lana.

Sameer : haan iss baar hum apne dost ko nirash nahi karenge aur jab Rahul hamare paas wapis aayega toh Riya bhi hume maaf kardegi aur tum dono ke life sahi line par aa jayegi.

Arjun smiled at his friend who always prayed for hi happiness. Maybe that is why Riya was rescued from that virus and is alive. Now he’ll not let go of this chance he would bring back his Riya who loved him unconditionally.

Sameer smirked at the lost Arjun and shook him by shoulder abruptly: oh Romeo! Ab agar Riya ke sapne dekhna ho gaya ho toh chale case wahi atka pada hai.

Arjun’s evil mind came into action and he teased his friend back abruptly: haan !haan! kyun nahi ab itne waqt se toh tum mere saath atke pade the toh Ayesha ki darshan nahi hui na . chalo jaldi bhago conference room mein wahi hogi tumhari Laila.

Sameer was dumbfounded at the sudden mood change of his naughty friend and watched him walk out of his cabin. He knows his old naughty Arjun is back in action and he has to tolerate all of his tantrums now. He slapped his palm on his forehead and followed his friend walking out of his cabin.

Arjun entered the conference room and his eyes caught a wonderful sight and automatically his lips turned into a wide smile. He saw his newly wedded wife Riya chatting and doing her work. He noticed Ayesha and found peace is smitten all over her face and he understood that Riya informed Ayesha of Suhani’s state. Arjun wanted to interact with Riya but he kept quiet because first of all, she would never let him so it would either lead to him teasing her or her ignorance towards him; and second of all today after a long time he saw Riya smiling wholeheartedly so he didna want to ruin it.

Rahul’s state was worse than ever. After Sultan’s recent visit he is more than tense he doesn’t know why Sultan told that now he is very near to get to that memory card. What thisb***d is thinking of doing? As far as that memory card Rahul is sure that it is still in its safe place but he can’t believe this monster who can do anything and everything to achieve what he wants.
