Their marriage was the turning point of the drama. It was basically what took the drama ahead. Had Hamza's character remained the same or changed for the worse then it would have made sense for Rumi to completely break off ties with him at the end and erase him from her mind.

However his character changed for the better and repented for his mistakes. Of course no one was expecting Rumi to run into his arms right away but an open ending like YDM or showing their reunion after a time leap would have definitely made more sense.

But the fact that she forgave her so called sister but not Hamza just added to the colossal mess which was that horrendous ending.

Exactly when you are a writer, you are the captain of the ship and you can steer it in any direction you want but the point is it has to be convincing, here the writers had decided they will give Hamza a tragic ending and that's it! Character development, logic gayi bhar mein...

I had fun on this thread in the past few months despite not being active over here.Reading all the different takes was amusing. Charu,Smithh,ChahatADoshi and everyone else,I enjoyed your company a lot.

Hopefully we can meet again in the thread of Feroze and Hania's reunion drama where their outstanding chemistry will be utilised and where they'll have a happy ending for good(yes I am looking at you Badar) so that we can erase the bitter memories of this godforsaken show from our minds.

Just gonna make one last post. Hamza was the only character who stayed true to his feelings and relationships completely. Jab Hamna se aashiqui ki toh usko sacchayi se nibhaaya. Unfortunately for him,Hamna se nafrat ko bhi imaandaari se nibhaaya. Finally jab Rumi se Ishq Kiya tab usko bhi poori shiddat se nibhaaya. Once he fell for Rumi,there was no place for any other feeling for anyone else in his heart.

Out of all the characters in the drama,he was the one who showed progress.

Oh and a special mention for Azeem Bhai as well. Unhone bhi poori shiddat se apne 2 rs ki izzat(read ego) ka maan rakha.Hamza ko pagal karke hi choda sabne 🙂 Goongi dearest,of course,stayed true to the love of her life which is herself.

I think I was minority here who wasn’t shipping for humza/ Roomi. I wouldn’t want humza with anyone, I would loved it more if Azeem and Hamna also parted ways. Their marriage was also loveless.

Hamma is stupid no doubt about that but honestly it's not easy to trust a man like Hamza again. Hamma and Hamza both should've end up alone here, Hamza doesn't deserve a free pass either because no matter what blackmail, harassing and threatening isn't justified at all.

I saw many dramas where toxic female leads get punishment and awful end yet people don't take a stand against those even if those girls change for the better be it Hamza or Amaan from YDM people are ready to give them a free pass.

I dun wanna see them together again, nor will I watch this teams creations ever....if they come up with a s2 they wont do any justice to humza..... I just thank god for forum , now I will watch ishquia only till epi 16 n rumi humza will be happy in my parallel universe 😆

What was this ghatiya ending. How the hell was hamna taunting hamza, she was the one who started all this. Ye konsi socially awkward larkiyan hoti hai bhen jo doston ke saath social media par pout karke pictures post karti hai, 4 saal ek larke ke sath relationship mein rehti hai. Humza wasnt just a guy, he was definately a popular one in university and hamna being his girlfriend would have been known well in the university too, was this socially awkward goongi okay with that? Han bhai theek hai ki hai humza ne galti aur saaza milni bhi chahiye but did everyone even his one family really forget that he was about to die that too because of hamna's betrayal. How is no one questioning hamna ke jab chupke ke kisi aur se hi shaadi karni thi toh chaar saal humza ko ghumaya hi kyun. I cant express how much I hated the scene of goongi in red dress with red lipstick roaming on beach with hajmola while humza lost everything and rumi lost so much.🤢 Feminism ke naam par kuch bhi dekha rahe hain yar. My heart broke seeing rumi crying after she lost her child. She didnt deserve all this at all neither did humza. Just because she blackmailed her ex girlfriend of telling her husband and her father of their affair. Bhen itna hi dhar tha toh kyu rakha relationship. Somewhere I did like how humza's family completely supported rumi and let her know how much she means to them. Wished they showed a scene between rumi and khalid rater than suman as rumi had lost her father recently. And I think the closest of father figure she had now was khalid. I hope we get a season 2😭😭 maybe zoya gets married and rumi gets invited to her wedding and rumi and humza meet again and fall in love all over again❤️😭

Sorry. I find a lot of difference between a character like nisha (from.jalan) and humza..I havent seen a lot of dramas though.

Humza was pushed into darkness courtesy humna , but the perpetrator humna was given a free pass saying she just did a mistake while humza did a sin by blackmailing her which was btw a blackmail which wud expose her lies n her true self to the world. That she had an affair with a boy in college , different from the "under confident image that she had been projecting " Mind it , the bLackmail was not about anything offensive like her intimate pics or videos with humza (did she sleep with him?) , this is what boys blackmail girls with in reality..if humna was truthful to ppl around her , there was nothing that humza cud blackmail her with plus save rumi . This is how they presented the story to us.

Whatever it was , humza was guilty of blackmailing and marrying rumi but punishing only one of them is rubbish 🤢 Humna lied to azeem but her lie is innocent but humza lying to rumi is a sin . He also wanted to tell the truth but did not due to her pregnancy. If alishba didnt tell the truth to rumi she wud be leading a happily ever after life. Blackmail and harassment ,these terms are wrong but with the context of the story , the makers themselves diluted it completely , turning it into a joke ..... What was the love they were talking about ? Humna jumped from humza to azeem and rumi acted like humza never existed. Did rumi ever love humza?

Is it shameful to fall in love ? It is ok to keep an affair for 4 years and yet , not give a required closure to a guy and get married to someone else without informing the person of interest ?

Compared to humza , someone who is by nature a sociopath with people around them and go around abusing, murdering , raping need not have a happily ever n need to be severely punished. Humza was NOT a sociopath . I actually regret now that he fell in love with rumi. He shd have continued wth humna and this end wud be appropriate for him then.

the writers and the makers were on weeds while writing this kind of pathetic ending!!Rumi ko kis baat ki saja mili koyi bata sakta hai.They literally had the ball of showing goongi preggy after rumi losing her baby.The injustice that has been done to the hamza character is not even worth mentioning!!If the makers cant even remember what they had shown previously then why bother making a damn show.They literally underplayed hamna’s brutal cheating and hamza’s accident where he escaped death.She screwed up hamza’s life and thats ok??Wtf did i just watch i dont even know..

For me Rumza are living a happy life in each otherr embrace with their baby

They did keep the option of s2 open by cutting of divorce scene,the last convo of rumza,only divorce notice has been served thats shown..
