Bollywood is not a family.. Its a business.. Everyone knows the family thing is just a facade.. People support those they know, are connected to or friends with.. Sushant did not have any close friends in BW.. his close friends were more in Telly world or outside of the industry.. Hence more support from that side

They were saying they were against his conviction.. They were against his arrest.. what do they have to support or protest against in this case? Support CBI? doesn't need their support? Protest against Mumbai police? Impossible

what Rhea is getting or not getting is not really confirmed so I will let that be...

The TV industry tou is very inclusive na.. why haven't they talked more about Sameer Sharma.. A vid of his surfaced wherein he was crying due to financial issue because someone was not giving him time.. Why has the TV industry not rallied in his support and tried to find out what caused him to suicide?

They can simply state what Anupam Kher did without critiquing anyone. That the truth needs to be uncovered and he deserves justice. That gesture of his was classy and brave. It would be appreciated coming from every Bollywood celeb.

Asking for justice in the current climate is also indirectly equivalent to saying the authorities are not capable or corrupt since justice is already being seeked via investigations. Anupam Kher can do that because he has little influence but can you imagine the repercussions if the Khans made this statement? They have no involvement in the case or evidence of corruption so any statement would invite major controversy whether from the vocal SSR supporters or the government. Silence is the best option until there is clarity on the case.

Again tweeting against a conviction in an ideal world should not make a difference in terms of the law either. Their double standards speak volumes. Sushant was a colleague. My former colleague's reached out to congratulate me even when I was not working with them when I got into a law school. We weren't the closest friends. I went to go visit them after hearing about their tumor. They claim it is a family with regards to criminal insiders but not outsiders. Salman isn't close to everyone inside the industry either considering his moody behavior. Especially not Big B considering his Bahu. Still the tweets were there. That double standard is evident, hypocritical and suspicious. Even during the #metoo movement tweets weren't going to achieve anything but is showed their stand on the right issue. They can tweet BLM but not Justice for Sushant. Don't outsider's lives matter?

Ok than say you support the investigation in a noncontroversial way. I don't see why the Khans cant do that but support criminals like Sanjay or Salman.

Big B remains close to Salman despite Ash.. You have clearly forgotten how often Abhi and AB have shown affection to the guy publicly even after Ash being married into the family

Please.. this has nothing to do with outsiders.. And by the way, Rhea too is an outsider..

They showed their stand on Metoo and BLM because it was a debate.. Sushant's investigation is on/// Your colleague congratulated you when you got into law school, not when you gave the test.. support or protest is against an action or verdict.. Not on an ongoing investigation

I dont see the difference between an ongoing trial and investigation. Again they can show their support for Sushant without discouraging Rhea in anyway. Sushant's case is very much a debate the same way the Jessica Lal case became with the obstruction of justice. The Mumbai police did not even register an FIR after his death. The supreme court gave them time to collect evidence to prove they were trying to do their job. That is very much a debate. Sushant was pubically shown affection too by many. From Shahrukh to others.

An ongoing trial where the accused was clearly known.. An investigation yet to reveal the culprit.. A vast difference

even if it is proven beyond doubt that Mumbai police did not do its job properly, no BW celebrity would ever come out and say it and neither should they

the law is doing its job.. SC is doing its job.. CBI has taken the case.. ED is handling its responsbility .. What more is needed till a culprit is reached?

No.. Its not possible to support Sushant without discouraging Rhea.. because she is the only one in the media glare right now.. If they say justice for Sushant, the media and people will perceive it as a sign that they are against Rhea

Sushant was shown affection, not as a friend but as a junior.. World of difference

Again they can support it without critiquing anybody. Yes, they can do it without critiquing Rhea. They can say whoever the real culprit is should be found and punished. Even in a trial a wrong culprit could be being accused. But the victim should get justice. Then support the investigation for CBI, ED, and SC. So only the accomplished seniors get the privilege of support from industry. There is clearly a double standard here. You can't dodge that point by pointing out minuscule differences.

but why will they say it out of the blue? why will they say real culprit should be found during an ongoing investigation? Investigation chal rahi hai.. when the verdict comes, it can be found whether the culprit is punished or not

No.. the privilege of support from the industry depends on connections and how close the person is to the industry.. who supported Shahrukh and Amir when they were targeted and bashed a couple of years back? Did any BW celeb stand up for them? Were they not accomplished seniors?
