i dont think he feels relieved or anxious when wedding gets interrupted. his expressions are neutral.

whatever they show in promo is not related to story most of the times.

i dont think preeta intended to stop the wedding before talking to mahira. i guess preeta will confront mahira tomorrow and ask her to refrain from harming mahesh. but mahira will express her evil intentions and preeta will make up her mind to stop the wedding. bride swap will be shrishti's idea.

I have a theory.
Sometimes people start to behave strange or aggressive after they've lost a close person. That's because they can't handle the stress. They do it out of fear. Here we have Karan whose father is almost dead. And Karan is aggressive and try to find a culprit maniacally due to stress he has. He can't handle this stress, he fears a lot and makes Preeta responsible for every bad thing that happened in his life. That is how he tries to handle the stress.
I am not a psychologist but I know that there is a diagnosis for this kind of condition and behaviour. So he actually needs a professional treatment.

I don't try to justify him. I just think that they can use it for the future scenario. They can make Karan a real psycho obsessed with the girl.

i dont think karan has some psychiatric disorder. he is just an egoistic male chauvinist. he is the man of evidence, he always was. thats why he blames preeta.

he never loved preeta unconditionally. his friendship and trust on preeta was tied to her saving rishabh from sherlyn.

imo he will not turn to some obsessed psycho. i can only see a very drastic redemption track for him. he will deem himself unworthy of preeta. thats how story will progress.

Yes, he is. But now they show him as angry man only. I mean that they may use it for the future track by making him a real psycho who is not healthy and who can go to any extent. Just my hypothesis.
