Afterall people's sentiments are involved here. If a tweet can make fans happy, why not oblige them?

But why do you need stars to make you happy on issues close to your heart? Why do you need a stars validation? As long as an individual is happy and celebrating why should anyone care if a star doesn't say something about it? We don't own stars, they don't have to do everything we tell them to do, if you are happy about the mandir being made then celebrate, why care so much about what stars are doing?

I mean on one hand people are saying they don't care about stars anymore, and on the other hand people care so much about them tweeting something?

your propaganda is funny. Those are paid endorsements from many, many years ago. That Pearls endorsement is like 10 years old. It was a job he got money for. It was also before he began appeasing the right wing. If you're looking for old videos, there are many where he talks about his love for Pakistan and how Pakistanis are the best fans out of all. That doesn't apply now, I assume. 🤔

Why does Akshay need to declare his love for Pakistan? Looking at the current climate it would be stupid of him to talk about his Pakistani fans, plus his films aren’t even shown there so why would we waste his time 😆

Indians obsession with bollywood stars and cricketers will never end . I wish each one of them disappears from twitter so that people can't question them on taking a stand every other day.

The OP is asking why there is not a single acknowledgement from the Hindu Bollywood stars about the Ram Mandir. I am sure there are no expectations from the actors/actresses of the other community.

The same actors/ actresses, however, are quick to call out Hindu festivals be it Water wastage during Holi or Pollution during Diwali.

So by that logic, if they can criticize a Hindu festival they should also praise when something good/auspicious happens.

That's all.

Bollywood bigwigs and their beta's and beti's are obviously the most spineless low-lives out there. They only play to the gallery when it wins them brownie points and knock people down when they're already low cuz that doesn't take much effort on their part.

Given their slimy ways, I say it's very expected of that particular breed to stay silent on social causes but throw their weight around for frivolous crap ... and I'm not in the least surprised. 😛

Just wait till Alia posts her next cute thing on instagram or Deepika posts another rant on depression, they'll all come back out of their holes to show solidarity all over again. 😆

But if you have a problem with me saying anything on this matter then OK I wont comment on it

Ignore the trolls. They are misinterpreting what you said in your posts.

But as many others have stated in this thread, BW folks, like everyone of us, can choose to speak on whatever they wanna. Also, why would any of us need any kind of validation from BW of all people?

Additionally, this is a sensitive topic. Better to stay mum than offend one set of people or the other.

Look, I don't know why there are attacks on me. On one hand, when I made this topic, they told me why expect anything from these celebs and these are just celebs who are there to entertain

But the same yardstick goes out of the window when it comes to KR. Now I don't even care about the 50 topics that's made on her every single tweet or quote,

But why doesn't the same yardstick not apply to other stars, when I make a topic on their hypocrisy which is what I feel genuinely, then why shouldn't I discuss the same.

I have not even spoken about members belonging to another nation, as everyone is welcome to share their opinions. But to cry a river when a topic is made on Bollywood "stars" hypocrisy and silence
