Did Rana love Vidya Bagchi in Kahaani?

The relationship between them is not clearly defined, but I always felt that Parambrata's character Rana was more than just a "saarthi" to Vidya. Of course, he was deeply affectionate to her but do you think he fell in love with her?

The relationship was surely more than platonic. It is their chemistry and undercurrent that gives the investigative story its potency.

100% he loved her, but she was married and (supposedly) pregnant so he had to keep it hidden. Then she left so they didn't get a happy ending :(

I love the actor who played Rana though. He was in Pari as well, playing another good guy ❤️
