Ekta never announces her lead so soon in case of Naagin.It's always had been kept as a mystry and she confuse viewers with her tactics.So it might be possible Hina is just a cameo role or may be she will be the lead (😆)

Cameo roles never appeared on the official posters before, they all make it on the official poster of season 5, that confirmed they are the leads.

The Naagin 5 official promo isn't even out yet... They're only airing Season 4 final promo. So far only online promotions and hype around Hina. The official promo will come with Hina and the mystery lead Naagin.

Naagin 3 Karishma Tanna was on the show montage though she was barely for 2 epis. Then they changed the montage. They will put these three in show montage too when naagin 5 starts airing to grab attention . Hina is a very popular face, dheeraj has pretty good fan following online as well among the television audience . If in this way the the whole season will be based on revenge of first 2 epis then yeah you can say they are leads like karishma and Rajat were leads of season 3 as per articles .

There were articles including Rajat and karishma too as lead cast and karishma also attended the launch pres con as lead. That will answer your doubt.

And Surbhi Jyoti or pearl puri were not even part of first offical promo .

I can totally see Ekta's desperate attempt to recreate season 3 magic, little similarity in the way the show was started and the the core of storyline also are pretty similar. Old wine in new bottles .

And now there are official confirmed articles also about sc playing the post reincarnation naagin and she gonna have twin sisters and all such articles . Hina's fans also have been talking that Hina is there for 4 episodes.

Being second choice and Backup options is different thing. But no actress gonna wait because the producer wished to wait for her favourite's confirmation. Nia is also herself pretty known actress. Done pretty good content on tv as well as web. As someone who has followed Nia's work on and off, naagin will land in her worst work, the way her character Brinda was written, plus the story and scenes were a let down". Being second choice for show and backup actors are different things.

Hina Khan is well known actress so obviously they will promote her, they are getting all this hype on her name. Even if she does just special appearance in another show of ekta , she will have her own promo.

Dheeraj is already doing a daily soap as main lead and it's too time consuming. And his show is one of the top shows on his channel as well as tv. He won't have time to play negative lead in naagin. It's very much obvious. Those who watch his zeetv show knows the story revolves around him and female lead and them taking most of screen time which must be hell lot of work. Both are ekta shows so her team will manage his time for both shows for some time I guess( that ekta knows how, may be sideling his other balaji show character for a week). If naagin wasn't ekta show, dheeraj won't be able to do even cameo. That is kind of hectic shoot daily soap lead actors do. I recently watched his other show so that's why telling he has a lot of screen time as lead in that show.

The whole point is if story is repeatitive then even popular faces can't save the show. Plus Hina doesn't give naagin vibes, and if we compare to charm and talents of previous seasons i.e. Arjun Bijlani, Pearl Puri, Vijayendra and parallel leads and cameos also like kinshuk or Rajat. they were good. Mohit also like Hina doesn't give a nagraj kind of vibes and to add to it is niether is a good actor. Dheeraj not sure, not impressed with his look either, looks like failed attempt of recreating Ranveer's Khilji look( there were articles also about it but the look is total let down). His acting is good though.

Rest just watch and enjoy if you want to. And you will know what ekta madamji has to show to viewers 😂

Film producers always have several names in their list beforehand when it comes to casting actor for the lead role. They contact the actor at the top of their list first to offer the role, if that actor refuses the role, then they will contact the next name (backup) on the list and it goes on until they got the actor for that role. Red:-I do agree with this as it is possible.Filim makers or serial makers must have their own preferences for casting and at first they approach their first choice if that particular person is not available then only they will move to next person.This makes sense.

Here in Naagin5,Hina,Mohit and Dheeraj is playing cameo roles only.They will be for 1 or 2 episodes not more than that.Many articles are confirming (almost) Surbhi Chanda will be next naagin.Ekta herself choosed all three of them for cameo roles and specially Hina is only highlighted more and more but truth is she is cameo.Then after some days Ekta will post SC's picture like boom surprise hahaha.

In S3,KT was for cameo role still she was in promo plus there was a poster of all three (KT,Surbhi and Anita)
