In general, this might not really be that true but we aren't talking in general here. We have a particular case and we are seeing things unfolding everyday that drags the case away from being a suicide.

In general -

People with depression can get suicidal thoughts.

People with depression cannot get suicidal thoughts.

People without depression can also get suicidal thoughts.

Suicidal thoughts - when knock your head - it's incredibly hard to resist. They are that strong. You know how hypnotism works? Suicidal thoughts sort of works in the similar way. It's almost like you are hypnotized to get up and finish your self.

But this is general. In this case, we have pretty much a lot of things that takes this away from the possibility of suicide.

I came back to edit. I didn't mean to say those with suicidal thoughts cant be achievers. My point is not everyone with depression has suicidal thoughts. So they are going to have to work harder to convince us. They cant even seem make up their mind on the type illness in the first place.

It normally says on the container. Both the medication and the dosage. I gave it to him everyday. But I have no idea what the medication was. 🤓

What kind of person answers like this?

In many households, when someone falls sick, their spouse or their son/daughter do check the prescriptions and hear Dr instructions fully.

They even call up a relative or friend or cousin who’s a Dr to confirm the meds being prescribed by the Dr they went to..

Exactly there is no way he lived with him for a year and he was not sure of the illness or medication. He clearly was making things up and contradicting himself. The interview with Arnab is a mess. And should alert people have the made up depression theory.

Exactly, even I dont understand it.

On topic, I dont think Rhea or the flatmates know what health issues he had (if there was any in the first place) neither do they care. She and her flatmates have failed to explained anything in detail and they are so unsure about everything even on why he was depressed.

If I was living with a sick person, I can literally explained everything, from the time he wakes up till he sleep daily what the person do, how they act, what they say, what they eat to what is bothering them.

Oof. I know. I wasn't really contradicting you. Was just telling how hard it is to resist when suicidal thoughts knock!

Suicide theory still doesn't go down my throat. 😳

Also legally speaking- petitions are not necessarily super specific or detailed. Once they have the hearing, they expand on the words, terms and argument made in the petition- so the petition cant be treated as inaccurate for not detailing the medical condition. Meaning it is a procedural issue of the petition, rather than a question of misinformation. The legal team would be handling this totally- not Rhea

Honestly I dont know. Will literally now depend on the evidence of this woman.

It was not just wrong but against the set of rules medical practitioners live by!

According to the 'Charter of Patients Rights' released by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare that compiles the lawful rights as stated in the Constitution of India -

Under - Right to confidentiality, human dignity and privacy -

"The code of ethics dictates doctors to hold information about the illness and treatment plan for the patient in strict confidentiality from everyone except the patient and their caretakers."

The exception is "unless made in public interest" right or wrong..her entire interview began by stating I am sharing this "in public interest" to "get rid of the stigma" around mental health.

That's enough to establish the grounds.

I'm not speaking morally please, only legally.
