Ankita, in an interview to Times Now, said, “Adi sir really supported him. Whenever he used to have a problem and he called Adi sir, he used to immediately call him back and ask him to meet him. Then Sushant used to go and meet him directly. If Sushant called him, he would immediately talk to him.”

Ankita said that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had offered both her and Sushant opportunities to work with him, but “we were the ones who did not take up.”

She said that she cannot comment on Karan Johar, who worked with Sushant after they broke up. “Agar mujhe pata hi nahi hai Karan Johar ke saath kya deal hui (I don’t know about the deal with Karan Johar), I have no idea about it but yes Aditya Chopra, Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali... I have seen that. They were all very supportive.”

Okay she does not know anything. Shekhar Kapur confirmed how he cried when Paani got shelved. Why is she doing this? Ekta Kapoor was not happy when he left PR. Even slb and aditya chopra statements did not matched. Oh please avantika.

See bollywood is a shallow place and we all know that. It didn't even spare khans, Aishwarya, madhuri etc. It is a problematic place where you have to loose something

It wasn't for nothing. Lobbying and nepotism might not have contributed to Sushant's death if we trust Ankita Lokhande's judgment, but those are real issues that aren't really 'tackled' - the public outrage pertaining to this particular case and rising awareness have definitely fostered encouragement into people who've come out and narrated their own experiences (like Sonu Nigam, AR Rahman, Ranvir Shorey etc.). It has rightfully stirred Bollywood up for a while; there are people like KJo who needed reality checks.

But agree with you, keeping all the debate and hatred on KR aside.

At least respect the statements of Manoj, ARR, Ranvir, Abhishek, Anubhav, Vir Sanghvi, Shekhar Gupta, Sonu Nigam, Resukul Pookutty.

These are not "attention seekers" but genuine talent and stalwarts who speak less but spoke about their experiences and the unfair treatment in the industry.

There exists a privilege club, there exists a camp who control everything right to the theater screens.

Next time, if they think twice before doing the things they have taken for granted then SSR's death would not have gone in vain
