They do give some really good clothes and accessories to Kuhu and Kaveri carries them off well too, kudos to her ๐๐ผ
And sadly on the opposite side, they make an equal effort to give some really atrocious outfits and almost no accessory to Mishti! Her full length gowns during the day time and even at night are eyesores to say the least! Who really wears clothes like this unless you are going for a formal event and even then! Kuch nahin toh simple salwar-kameez hi de dete Mishti ko...
I know they want to emphasis, in Kuhu's words, that Kuhu is a fashionista and Mishti is a bahenji but they need to have some balance! It almost appears as if their whole style budget goes in glamorizing primarily Kuhu followed by the other ladies in the show and then they have a tailor on sets that makes some makeshift clothes for Mishti! Oh and her makeup and hair styling No idea how Rhea puts up with what gets dished out to her in the name of behenji ๐ณ
While the ladies look great, their abusive treatment of Mishti on a constant basis takes away their beauty and grace completely for me! Seedhe munh baat hi nahin karta koi, except Parul whom I find the most graceful of them all โค๏ธ
Yesterday, when Kuhu first appeared in Ketu's room after Mishti was done helping with the bangles, while she looked pretty the way she spoke to Mishti right after in that rude and crass manner... uff, it immediately put me off and I lost interest!
There is no balance in their treatment of Mishti! Who talks to their family member like this - ALL THE TIME - doesn't matter whether you like them or not!
I know original topic se thoda dur chali gayi hoon but anyways who am I kidding? Overall balance of the entire show is missing... The way the whole RV family is busy cornering Mishti and taunting Abir too now... how will they justify Abir continuing to want to live with his crass family that just downright bullies his wife is beyond me!๐ค
Makers need to wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late!
