Now don't look at any controversy here, as he didn't want anyone else's scene to be chopped from the film too. Reason? He was so attached to the canned portions of the film that he wanted it all to be retained for the final version.
Laughs Tusshar while remembering the good time he had while shooting for Tusshar, "The film is a joke a minute tale. There are so many funny one liners and riotous scenes out there that our editor must have had a tough time deciding what to retain and what to knock off. If I had my way, I wouldn't have allowed anything to be cut from the film."
"Once the principal shooting of the film was through, it was decided that ONE TWO THREE had to be crisp. The film's had to be reduced to 2 hrs 10 minutes and in the process so many comic moments had to find their way on the editing table", rues Tusshar.
He adds, "In fact I asked Kumarji (Mangat) if it was absolutely necessary to have so many hilarious gags go out but he is an experienced man. He explained to everyone how it would anyways turn out to be beneficial for the film."
Talking about Upen Patel and Tanisha Mukerjee who have a key role to play in the film, Tusshar cracks up, "These two form a mad couple in the film. They are not just mad for money; they are also madly in love with each other. And imagine, they are out to kill me in the film when I play a 'hardly' rising gangster whose mother wishes him to become the biggest killer in the town! Watch out for all the fun!"
