Wasn't she bullied for her weight gain by this "fair" industry?

I have always respected her as an actress but Good Lord, I cant believe she actually chose those words. Totally disappointed ☹️

Just a reminder that beliefs have nothing do with reality. She speaks crap very often, nothing new.

Ofcourse .. now she is a part of the same industry, has a producer husband, Ark as his brother in law who gets movies on a platter ..

I have come to believe that these bolly people are high degree shameless and ignorant .. they can't see anything and anyone beyond their privilege. .

Bollywood was "fair", then many of these starlets wouldn't be in this industry getting movies while talented ones are left out jobless.

if Bollywood was fair, then oscar winners like ARRahman, Resul pookutty and talent like Kangana, Sonu Nigam, Manoj, Shekhar Kapu wouldn't be speaking out

When you achieve success you Eventually fail to empathize with emerging outsiders today. The thing is that she not an actress in the current crop who is competing for roles so cannot understand.
Vidya is established. And even when she was trying to establish herself, the roles she was offered were not the same the roles Priyanka or deepika were competing for. By the time Priyanka was considered for a barfi or Mary kom, or deepika a piku, vidya was already a pro in that space.

Today’s actors are expected to be much more versatile much sooner in their careers. When varied opportunities are being lobbied for, given to star kids -it’s a big problem.

It’s a bigger problem when films like Kalank are given to a star kid in which they are very visibly unsuitable for .That’s called crossing the line and is a part of power play and greed for the versatility tag

Priyanka, Katrina, etc were given roles they were suitable for. Versatility came with time when a director had faith in them to carry a specific performance. Vidya wasn’t offered glamorous roles because she didn’t fit in that space.

actors need to be following there career graph naturally and not push themselves into roles because of connections. It needs to be an equal playing field, the problem is not even nepotism.
