Ani has changed the day he came to know the letter of the girl he accidentally got and replied was of Bondita's. He has two things in his minds -

1)he always saw a ray of hope in the letter girl(Bon) and he thought she might help him in fulfilling his dreams

I agree Anirudh started taking his responsibilities when he came to know she is the letter girl and somehow started seeing this marriage was his destiny❤️

But sometimes i hope makers give some insight into Anirudh's thoughts like what he thought about that village men incident and all. We only have to assume his emotions based on his reactions which keep fluctuating everyday😒

So it was Saans not Saas(MIL) like what i guessed from the wtitten update that Kate posted🤣 and also Ruki,not Rukhi 😆

@bold,so true..He himself is so much confused that we become more and more confused seeing his altered expressions
