The writers can not be accused of not thinking outside the box when it comes to relationships in this serial. There are two relationships in this show that are quite remarkable: Ronit and his sister Komollikka and Bajaj and Prerna.
A grown man like Ronit would allow his psycho sister to completely dominate him and use him to further her evil intentions, is too far-fetched, even for a show like kzk2.
Does Ronit not have any self-respect or even a brain of his own? He plans to marry a woman he professes to hate, to allow his sister the satisfaction of winning over her rival. And Ronit allowed himself to be manipulated by her for the past 8 years, so that she could throw her evil plan into action now, assuming Prerna would behave as Komollika wanted! Come on! I am not buying this!~ Surely, Ronit has a personal life of his own? 😔
As for Prerna and Bajaj, they have a very modern twist to the living together concept. Not married, but still she decided to change her last name to his. For her own selfish motives. They live in the same house, have separate bedrooms, raise a child together, pretend to be married, but are not lovers. Yet one of them, Bajaj, professes to be in love with Prerna but is given the cold shoulder by Prerna.
I never thought millionaire Bajaj, the much-sought-after, the eligible bachelor with tattoos to boot, would have put with this bizarre set-up. Come on man, ditch her! She is not that into you. 😕
