For power and authority, he ignored and insulted his own father. His father, who had worked so hard to get him into the Ministry.

Percy is a self centered egoistic jerk, who called DOLORES UMBRIDGE a sweet woman (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? HE CALLED UMBRIDGE A SWEET WOMAN!) He made Molly , his mother cry for the whole Christmas!
