Thankfully, I haven't seen it. And now, I am not sure I will until there is something amazing enough to reel me back in. I had come on board this show for the sisters. That got destroyed with the way the Nishant track ended. The only reason for sticking around was KuKu and the changing family dynamics after Kunal's birth truth that were being explored. After this leap, the family part is also out the window and now KuKu is also kind of over. From what I have heard, the new writers don't get Kuhu's character. So, what is even the point of watching the show anymore?! I don't want to watch Abir taking outrageously stupid decisions and telling Mishti to forget everything while shouting on everyone in sight because he chose to hide the truth. Also, I can't see trauma being treated by the sheer will power to get better and wanting to feel happy because that is not how it works.

this year is truly the year of disappointments.

I’m actually feeling so torn about this situation. One hand I understand the production has to move forward but I can also sympathize with Ritvik. Sticky situation tbh.

I hope the new guy will make it worth watching and also wish there was more depth to their story than what is currently being shown.

This such a big loss for the show😒 I'm so sorry for Ritvik - these circumstances are out of his control.

I really like Ritivik and Kaveri's chemistry, especially offscreen (sharing birthdays, i think really helped them click😉). Kunal and Kuhu are not easy characters to play at all. They definitely had many layers and depth (until recently 🤔).

And how can we forget the best brother jodi ever scene on ITV - Kunal and Abir! This was only made possible by Ritvik's rapport with Shah🤗I don't think I can watch nanko be played by anyone else.

Ritvik has that pure innocence in his expressions and body language, yet also the swag and boldness to play a businessman👍🏼

Yes, the show must go on, but Kunal, nanko, Kuku, Abi-nal - none of these will ever be the same if he is replaced.

#1 thing I will miss is Ritvik's IV - his wit and humour always made the interviews so much more enjoyable😃

I am happy that Ritvik is out of this show. A few weeks ago, we had already predicted in the TCC that he will not return to the show. I think both the parties could have handled it better but nothing can be done about that now.

Kunal's character had literally nothing to do other than shout at Kuhu and act as cheerleader for MA. I am surprised that Kunal was not given an actual set of pom poms so that he could cheer and jump around in the background while his bhai and bhabhi were romancing. 😆

I just hope that now the writers make Kuhu’s character completely one dimensional and make her completely negative and make her enemy’s life hell. That would be so much fun to watch. 😃

But I know that will never happen because I have a feeling that by the end of this murder track, Kuhu will be “redeemed” and she will happily become Misty’s sidekick. 🤢

@bold: I dont think so, Meenu & Kuhu will always remain potential vamps & will resume their vamp roles whenever the ongoing track doesnt work to spice things up, like the ongoing one

I'm not that shattered with this news.. Maybe because Kunal's character was sidelined after their 2nd wedding and post break there hasn't been anything much to add.

I wish Ritvik gets some good shows where his talent is recognized, appreciated and valued. Good luck to him! Wish the mudslinging never happened.

As for KuKu, yes we will miss KaVik playing it. I'm glad Humma Humma was the last dance we will remember KaVik being pictured on.

I'm open to Ritvik's replacement and would give that person a month or 2 to sink in. If that doesn't happen then it'll be a tata bye bye from me for KuKu. I love Kaveri so will catch up on the show here and there.

Nikki and PF.. now that Kuhu has been reduced to a vamp or sidekick of Meenu I totally understand from where you are coming.. no hope left at all?

I hope you are right and Kuhu is never “redeemed” and reduced to a sidekick (like they did with Kunal’s character). I have seen different ideas floating around for Kuhu’s “redemption”. The most popular one seems to be that Kuhu should rot in prison for her so called crimes. 😆 Personally, I find that ridiculous because Kuhu is literally surrounded by criminals in the show, but somehow she is the one who deserves to go to prison? 🤣

I hope that the new Kunal is good because I really hope the makers come up with substantial storyline for KuKu. I really feel there is so much potential to play around with their characters instead of making them so one note.

I will be sad to see Ritvik go. Hope to see him in another show. I loved his bonding as Kunal with Abir and Kuhu, It was great fun to watch him on screen.
