It could be Karan's hallucination, I mean they do make him drink a lot on the show. He has hit his head hard a lot fighting random goons as well. He is already crazy he might as well be loosing his mind.

Voh possible thi, if we didn't see him dragging preeta and challenging her to see his wedding.. this all could have been his imagination. But i don't think he is imagining. In today's he and sammy does have a convo that he was again sleep talking about preeta.😆 so i think, to prove himself and to sammy that preeta doesn't affect him, he might go to preeta to pull the stunt of "mujhe koyi farak nahi padtha"
