I have been cribbing a lot about the casual attitude to the lockdown and social distancing norms not being followed in our Mulund T ward. Turns out surprisingly that this may actually have been a good thing. The latest sero-survey conducted in Mumbai to find out how many may have had inadvertent virus exposure finds that Mulund has the highest i.e. a whopping 45% of the population have unkowingly gone through the disease and generated antibodies. May be Mulund is quickly going to get herd immunity even before the vaccine arrives.

as per news lock down has benefitted in Thane as new cases came down from 400 to 180 per day. In Pune lockdown no of cases went on rising and it failed because there was a huge rush 2-3 days before lockdown. BTW : Adar punawala has also said it will take new year for the vaccine.
