Why is Karan Johar so invested in Alia?

I think that's a question that has been haunting me for long. Why exactly is he so invested in her? Does he really see so much potential in her, which we common folk don't? She neither has the looks, glamour nor acting chops. What could be the reason???

But he didn't do half as much for Kareena as he has done for Alia. He has literally thwarted all competition and stolen all films for her.

Many time when we work with others, we like to work with them because of their attitude, how motivated they are. I like to hire people who have good attitude than people who may not have one. Who are good TEAM players..

Leaders like people who are self motivated and ready put efforts on what need to be delivered.

So it is not about Nepotism, it is about who delivers and HOW..!!

@Bold - This statement has been made many times on this forum, however no one is able to give an example of which films he stole??? I made a thread asking this question and the only answer I got was:

1. He asked Gauri Shinde to cast her in Dear Zindagi - which BTW was a Dharma film.

2. He recommended Imtiaz Ali to cast her in Highway - Recommended is not equal to snatched because Imtiaz Ali has his own brain and choice

These are literally the only examples people could come up with YET you claim he stole "ALL" movies for her.

An as for stolen films well her filmography doesnt consist of much films.
