So, i watched Luck By Chance again after a good 11 years and was surprised at how relevant this film is. It talks about nepotism and the various threads connected with it. For e.g. -
Farhan Akhtar's character Vikram uses lies, deception, flattery to get to the stardom, betraying people who stood by him.
Konkona's character Sona sleeps with a married director in the vain hope of getting a lead role someday, fails and move on.
A girl without any talent gets a lead role because she is the daughter of a famous actress.
The cheating director himself is struggling to get his new movie financed and has to reach out to his brother - in - law who is a big producer.
This producer (Rishi Kapoor) himself is trying hard to remain relevant and get a big star to sign his movies
Has anyone seen this movie? Thoughts/opinions please.
