Hmm touches can be different right?

You hug someone in pain, you hug someone platonically. And same hugs can be romantic.

Prerna was fine with platonic touches . He hugged Bajaj ij award ceremony but that shows a platonic relationship they share that time even hand holdings are platonic gestures.

But at majority times a touch on waist isn't platonic but a romantic gesture.

Prerna always reacted that way when she gets touched by her waist whether it's in NB track or Mr Bajaj's first track or today.

Coming to dances, well in dances max it's rehearsed. AnuPre's first dance was where they danced with Anurag putting his hands on waist and doing steps but they were just smiling . Because that was dance where partners gets exchanged and normal stuff. But in precap he comes all of a sudden and puts his hand on waist so obviously she will be shocked

And a woman can respect a person and still can be discomfortable with a touch in a place she isn't comfortable, it applies to husband and wife too.

There is only once he hugged her in pain. Where would you put the rest? Especially post leap.They were not romantic for sure that's what I know. At least not from her end. From his side yes, he kind of did. So, I am ready to accept Paricarocks logic that probably this time she wasn't prepared for it. He didn't tell her like always. Otherwise, it very similar.

This is not the first time, but like I said, she probably wasn't informed.

Naveen Babu- I'd restrict my comments as I have no idea on that character other than the fact that he provided some comic relief (again not my views. This is I guaged from the forum). Bajaj first track only had a little progress in building a frndship. Actual comfort was shown only post leap. That's the reason I tried to depict the evolution and not event to event comparison.

Anupre ka pata nahi pehle kya kiya. So can't say much about that phase. Suddeness is acceptable reason. Will see the epi.

She can be. That's why my post is not about her but him. If something changed in him that made her react like this. I would have been happy if he told her about Komolika right then (they always talked or he asked her for a dance) instead of giving an explanation later on. So lets see what is the chronology of events in the episode tomorrow.

Ohh God.. Can I just don't want to remember this phase. I was left all confused. It looked like a dream sequence that soon became a nightmare for me. I really hoped it was a dream... but right now it fits the situation for a viewer like me perfectly.

I don't think there's anything abnormal about her reaction.

First off, it was sudden and she was unprepared. A waist is normally a very sensitive and also an intimate region for most of us. A sudden sliding of the arm around the waist is not something that any of us are comfortable with if we are not prepared for it, or expecting it, or used to it: none of which prerna is. Also this maybe purely my judgment and anyone is welcome to differ but the way I saw it in the precap the touch was not very well done too. It was less of a touch and more of a clawing hold, but that's my perspnal grouse and may or may not be responsible for the way pre reacted.

Also, we won't know this from the precap since they have a habit of cutting and pasting bits. until we watch the episode we don't know if all that Bajaj did was touch her or did he also say somethings that was inappropriate given their platonic relationship. (albeit to trick komolika). Prerna's reaction might be due to it all put together.

But without bringing in any comparisons to Pre leap, pre lockdown, post lockdown, one thing remains that Bajaj was wrong 10 ways to Sunday to suddenly sneak up on prerna and touch her like that, especially given the dynamics of her relationship. If he indeed wanted to trick Komo and mohini, he should've taken prerna into confidence. The explanation he's giving her now, after the deed is done, could've been given before the deed. She would've obviously gone along with him as we see in the precap, and there wouldn't have been a "aapne aisa kyun kiya Mr. Bajaj", to begin with.

As it stays I find prerna's reaction slightly over dramatic and out of place (and that I think is due to this awful WFH solution), rather than wrong or confused or out of character or relationship dynamics.
