Heya Briti I just saw your post on HP forum
Wanted to just clarify that you can call Minionite Shreya
I call her Senior as she is my senior in the Moderation Team
Its a name I solely have reserved for her so ya
And yes Happy Birthday dear
May the Lord of the Heavens bless you with immense love and happiness
Never I hope that you have a day where you feel sad
Stay happy and stay safe my dear!
Thank you so so much for your wishes Alexia Di. I saw people calling her Senior so thought that's what they call her. Okay I will call her Shreya Di.
Oh classes se yaad aaya apko toh nepali sikhana bhool hi gayi thi.
Here it is:
You:
Aap- Tapai - You usually call elders like that but there are people who call anyone they donāt know or want to show respect to as Tapai, regardless of their age - Say the Ta as how you would say ta in talaab (well), Pai as how you would say Thai but with a p.
Tum - Timi - For someone your age or someone you are close - pronounce the t as how you would in tu, and the imi part is pretty obvious.
Tu- Ta - Now, you talk like this with someone who you are really close with as it is disrespectful - Say the T as it is pronounced in Tu, but of course with the a sound in the end.
Some words that are different:
Chand - Jun - like June without stretching the u sound.
Rasta - Bato - Ba like ba in baba, and to pronounced as toe.
Pyaar - Maya - The world pyaar is also used in Nepali but when confessing love, people usually use the word maya - Maya as in Maya from Yogmaya.
Some words that are same:
Phool
Gaadi (car)
Ghar

Bold - offend hogayi kya? šš¤
Bold and italics kya hai behenš¤
Offend nahi hui bas want to know
Kyunki if she is 20 years and more than calling me Di is awkwardš
Reminds me of Shaheen's fiasco
@Shaheen you remember that?
