Putting all logic aside....

My feeling is that Anupam has something to do with Sneha - as we don't know what actually happened to him Sneha may even be with his family where she was the cause of the pamnivi split - That would make such a good fanfic!

It can also explain Shivi's secrecy about things.

If the Sharma's think Sneha is dead, shivi would have told them, she knew what was going on at the time and can be angry with Bajaj for taking Prerna away before they found Sheha and possibly even blocking all attempts at reunion.

That would then explain his distancing from Kukhi - so that she and Prerna share a close relationship, knowing it is all that will keep Prerna with him if she found out the truth.

Bold - Didn't get what you meant here. Could you explain? Because, if you meant that Sharmas know that Sneha is alive, then automatically soon Prerna too should come to know about it. But with the way CVs are making sure to show Anu-Sneha having a more intense bond, i don't think Pre will be the first one to know about Sneha's truth, among AnuPre.

When we go back it was eluded to that Prerna had no contact with her family while in London - why was that?

For every action or reaction there is a reason - that should make sense. Prerna cutting all ties with her family does not make sense - something must have happened. This could be why Shivi seems restless when Bajaj is around or whenever Prerna questions her.

This is the best solution to reveal Sneha's truth without putting the blame of Sneha's lost 8yrs solely on any one of them. But, i doubt whether KZK CVs are that much talented to think like this. Instead, i feel like they are reserving Sneha and Anupam as a trump card and will be used only once they decide which route to take.
