Why does everyone believe Rajeev Masand's blinds were false?

Genuine doubt. Trust me i am not trying to stir up any trouble. Just trying to understand.

I am not a regular to IF so don't know the history of blinds but i know what they are. Yes they are nasty and could be true or false. But why does everyone universally believe that Rajeev's blinds about Sushant were completely false? Has something come up? I am not aware.

Nasty rumours and gossip have always been there in Bollywood and some very unkind ones as well. No one can ever say how much true or false these are/were but how is everyone so sure that Sushant one's were completely false? Just wanted to understand.

Because the girl apparently retracted quickly thereafter.

And by the way, on the contrary, most people on here believe blinds blindly. I include myself on the list as well. I do think that will stop now though

When the poor guy was alive, almost all of them believed in those blinds...But now they don’t anymore after he decided to leave us...Poor guy had to die to make these people believe that they were lies...Wish they chose to question the blinds when he was alive! :( Now they have accepted that the blinds are lies without any questioning...Wish they had done that when he was alive! :(

Bold - I agree no one should believe anything blindly. But how is everyone so sure that they were false only? As far as i know , no one knows anything whether they were true or false. Until unless there is some development i am not aware of.

Though i do agree we shouldn't judge any actors on the basis of these blinds because we simply don't know the truth.

The girl said it was not true and also she said sushant told her someone was after him to ruin his image. His director supported sushant too. Manoj in his interview gave a huge hint how people are there to sabotage you because they feel threatened by your talent. PR agent was questioned and apparently rumored that pr agent was one of the people that was spreading rumors about him possibly because he was in competition with actors they managed in their company, they all were in talks for same movie. He was replaced in movies too so seems like they were after him. Now they are silent and are praising sushant because he is no more.

Wish he stayed alive because everyone should learn to fight their own battles. Not everybody is going to like you, not everybody is going to support you, some people will gossip about you, put false stories of you to others, call you names just to put you down but getting back up is the biggest victory anybody can do. But he was weak because they were attacking him in gangs. Bhatt guy was after him because of rhea.

First they blindly believed it and bashed SSR and now they are blindly disbelieving it and bashing Rajeev? Matlab samajh nahin aaya.

They way Kangana was demanding in her interview that Rajeev should be questioned and people were supporting her i thought something had happened which proved that all blinds were false.

I have always said blinds shouldn't be trusted and are just plain vile since the person being targeted cannot even put his side forward since he is directly not being named

... As for Sushant, I guess because most of his co stars refuted claims of him being difficult on sets.. and his neighbors refuted him to be a source of trouble.. so the blinds are proven wrong I guess

And it happened only after his death? Doesn’t it bother you that it took him to take to that extreme step for people to believe in him?

Nothing new happened...other than him taking that extreme step to end it all once and for all!

The costar has refuted the blinds at around that time itself but they disregarded it saying she got blackmailed into doing so....and bashed SSR some more!

But has that really happened? I haven't read anything related to people refuting these claims? Or is it just twitter rumours?

Edit : I am not talking about Mee too claims that i am clear about. But the blinds by Rajeev like his neighbours once complained etc. How do we really know this is all false?
