Yep, before Kangana Ranaut, people had resigned to nepotism because it is so prevalent. Everyone knows nepotism is wrong but nobody cares enough to speak up. She was the first public Indian personality to bring it up on national television. That triggered a wave. Kangana will go down in Bollywood history as a legend, for sure.
