90s SRK >>>>> Ranbir

Hands down. In the 00s’ he got complacent due to his stardom IMO.

I think SRK although i do not think hes that great an actor in last two decades

Can Ranbir do a baazigar or daar or anjaam? I doubt

Even if he does no one will see it

SRK can do romance and also scare you in theatres

Ranbir cannot do both actually

He can only play a man child cribbing and sober always in every movie

SRK has charisma Ranbir does not have that to become a super star that SRK was in 90s

Who was SRK competition - amir khan, salman khan, sunny deol, akshya kumar, govinda (in main stream)

Whose Ranbirs competition - ranveer singh, hrithik roshan, tiger shroff, varun dhawan

Other than ranveer and hrithik all others do not know abc of acting

OK rest all are main stream like raj kumar roa, ayushmann, vikrant massey etc

A lot of Ranbir's acting has been natural and realistic but at the same time it's unfair to compare him to SRK who was very much a product of his times...when acting was more about projecting and selling a larger than life presence and there, his charisma and talent was unquestionable. People praise Aamir all the rime but apart from his great script sense, he can be super dull and charmless on screen. I find SRK may not be the next Daniel Day Lewis but he has always had a good balance of all the ingredients needed - good actor, good range and tremendous screen presence. He's a bit like Deepika in this..people were wondering about how she got so successful on a different thread...same answer- everything in balance.

Like most here I would also say that if I had to, I would pick SRK's filmography to watch on a deserted island than RK's. Also he is definitely hotter than RK..if you compare them in their primes.

Ranbir is a good actor maybe but I don't remember if moving with tears like srk did in kal ho na ho and chak de India and even swades. I never rewatched kal ho na ho because the movie will always get into tears.

Barring Barfi maybe, I don't have any problem imagining SRK in any of Ranbir's roles.

Ranbir is a better actor by miles, no comparison even...But SRK is more charismatic...The amount of screen presence he commands is almost unmatched and very few can beat him in that department!
