Exactly even i was surprised when i saw this. If he had announced that he is quitting showbiz than he should quit otherwise he don't need to announce this.

KAM3 Shoot is still.going on? If yes and this project came along he.might have decided to do it as it might end shooting b4 KAM3 then he'll quit.

Yup he is ahsan talish. He was also in Alif Allah aur insan.he also director dramas so he is director of this drama.
