I can connect to the poem on so many levels Lavy. It's beautifully, soulfully penned down.
As always Lavy, I'm awestruck with the maturity you show. To accept something (basically namta ghene) in any relationship is in itself a huge thing (whether or not you're on the wrong). I can clearly see her loss in the larger scheme of things.
Like Alina said, every person makes up for a different chapter in the book of our life. Those intended to stay will, universe willing return one or the other day. I think our job is only to remain true to our emotions. Our love, our trustworthiness isn't faltered even if someone decides to taint it. It still remains that pure and we should be proud of that. To have felt is the most human thing anyone can experience.
I was naive and let my secrets out
Only for you to raise a doubt
This line touched my soul yaar! Reminded me of another great line penned by Yogesh saab
Kahin toh yeh dil kabhi mil nahi paate
Kahin pe nikal aaye janmon ke naate
Ghani thi uljhan
Bairi apna mann
Apna hi hoke sahe dard paraye
(Somewhere even long lost lovers aren't destined to meet.
But sometimes a momentary relationship turns into a lifelong one.
The situation is deep, for my own mind is my enemy ~ keeps bearing the pain of others)
Beautifully written, Bucky!...I agree, Lavy's maturity always surprises me and her kindness is the proof that her friend missed out on a great person ❤️ (Lavy, it's not your loss it's hers....) Every person we meet shapes our lives is something I really believe in...but the problem with this mindset is that I tend to see people as "temporary"...no one stays in our life forever. Maybe after losing so many friends, I have detached myself so that I don't feel sad when they move on or if I move on because some people can't stay with us in every stage of life. We outgrow each other. But, there are some friends that will stay with you forever no matter how far you are in distance or how much time passes by...and these friends will never ask for anything from you except for your friendship.
@Bold - what a beautiful poem...so deep!! Thank you for sharing!
