Chapter 23
"I Love You" both say in unison.
Suddenly Roshni hits him in his chest.
"ouch...ow...Ro...what...are....you....doing" he manages to speak in between her hits.
But she doesn't stops her small beatings.
"ullu...bewakoof...pagal...ghadha....stupid...duffer" she says while hitting continuously.
"okay bai stop" he says holding her hands.
She huffs making him smile.
"i'm sorry" he says holding his ears.
She turns away from him, with attitude.
He stands in front of her, and looks at her pout makes him chuckle.
She stares at him for few seconds and turns opposite to him.
"Roshni..." he takes a deep breath and kneels down in front of her.
"i'm sorry baby...maaf kardo mujhe...jaise maine kaha i'll accept any punishment from you, that's a promise, but aise don't do na...i can't live without Roshni...you are my life Roshni...tum meri zindagi ho...aur mujhe meri zindagi se dur mat rakko na...please maaf kardo mujhe" he asks trying to hold her.
Hearing his please she melts, how can't she, this is what she always wanted.
"i'm shhooorrrrreeey" he makes a puppy face making her smile little.
"Roshu peaseee na" he speaks in baby voice as he knows that this will surely melt her and yes it did.
She takes a deep breath to stop her from smiling and telling him that she forgave him.
"you'll do any punishment I give you?" she questions.
He stands and meets her eyes.
"yes baby, jo bhi tum kaho, i'll do anything, even to lose my life just to make you happy, main karunghi Roshni" he states making her go 'awww' in her mind.
"toh you'll do it na pakka?"
"yes 100%"
"okay, tume main daily ek punishment dungi, and use tum pura karna hoga, deal" she forwards her hand,
"itni si, I thought tum kuch bara doghi, but never mind, this is gonna be easy" he says shaking his hands with his.
"so its a deal Mr Siddharth Khurana" she smirks,
"yes Mrs Siddharth Khurana" he winks making her blush.
She leaves him and runs away to see the decorations.
Her eyes twinkle as she sees the effort he has taken just to make her happy.
She stands and admires a particular snap when she feels his closeness.
"Siddharth" she whispers turning around.
He looks at her endearingly.
He places his hands on her waist pulling her closer to him, so close that his breath was fanning her face.
She closes her eyes affected by the proximity.
"Roshni" he whispers making her look at him.
"I Love You" he says with full on emotion while she smiles.
"I Love You too" she replies.
"toh Mrs Khurana" his grip on her waist tightens,
"we had just made a deal, why not seal the deal with a kiss, what say?" he asks winking at her, making her blush.
"uh..." she stammers, "no, we just kissed" she makes an excuse.
"toh you are my legally wedded wife, aur jahaan tak mujhe pata hai, husband apni biwi se ek nahi ek so kisses le tein, main toh seedhi saadhi good husband hun na, sirf aur sirf ek kiss puchrouin na" he pouts.
She encircles her arms on his neck.
"aaj ka punishment due hai na" she says.
"um...yes...lekin kyun" he asks, "no Roshni, not today....kal se we'll start na... please don't say what I think you're gonna say"
She smiles looking at his pleads,
"okay Mr Husband aaj chod rahi hun but kal se you have too no escape, samjhe na" she says.
"thank you Mrs Husband...ab ek chotu kiss" he pouts making her chuckle.
She moves in closer to him while he closes his eyes.
As he waits for his kiss, Roshni's eyes twinkle as she always wanted this only this.
Being in his arms, telling him that she loves him, telling him that she just can't wait to live with him, telling him how lucky she is to be in his life.
Siddharth opens his eyes and sees a Roshni thinking about something.
"Roshni kya hua" he asks her making her coming back to reality.
"uh kuch nahi"
"nahi, kuch toh hai"
"haan kuch hai...thanks Siddharth, tume pata nahin kab se main tujhe ye bolna chara tha ki I Love You...more than anything in my life....tujhe pata nahin kya kya main guzar chuki hun after whatever happened between us" she sighs,
"Roshni mood spoil mat kar, don't talk about the past, what matters is the present aur ab tum meri paas hun, itna paas" he pulls her more closer to him if that's even possible.
"let me finish Siddharth... I missed you Siddharth....I missed you during my flight back to India, you don't know main kitna dar gayi thi...that was my first flight without you..." her eyes fill with tears.
"I missed you when I opened my plan about my NGO to mom...I missed you when I wanted to share my happiness when mom agreed...I missed you when I got a job offer from a very big company...to which I declined...I missed you Siddharth and mujhe pata nahin kyun i'm still missing you"
"aur thanks Siddharth...thanks for being in my life...being my life I Love You so much and i'm sorry too" she says wiping her tears.
"uffo Roshni...I missed you too aur aaj hamare liye ek bohot bade din hai...I really don't wanna spoil this".
"toh what you don't wanna spoil" she says lightening her mood.
"the kiss you were about to give me" he pouts and leans closer to her.
She slowly brushes her lips on his.
"Roshni" he whispers as he feels her lips on his.
She kisses him gently making him squeeze her slender waist.
Her hands reach upto his hair pulling him closer.
He sucks her lower lip while she kisses his upper lip.
He thrust his tongue into her mouth as she parts her lips.
She groans softly, feeling the immense pleasure he is giving.
"AHEM AHEM" they hear a cough making them leave each others lips.
As they pant for much needed air they look on who was it.
And yes it was AshWik and Karan.
Roshni immediately backs off from his hold and looks down, while Siddharth coughs, straightening his collar.
The trio walks towards SidNi as they say.
"lagta hai hum galat time pe aagai"
"yes, yeh dono toh kiss pe kiss marren"
"shouldn't we go back again? in dono ko continue karni hogi na...we'll leave".
They tease them.
"tum log" Siddharth says,
"haan hum" Rithwik replies.
"Sid tum jaantio na ki we were having a watch over you guys toh wait nahi kar sakta kya" Asha asks.
"lekin acha scene tha" Karan says.
"hmm Ashu you know what yeh dono humse behtar hain" Rithwik winks at them.
"guys" Siddharth looks at Asha then at Roshni,
Asha clear her throat standing next to Roshni, she pushes Roshni by her shoulder making Roshni hit Siddharth.
"Asha" Roshni says blushing.
"arre arre yeh kya hamari Roshni ko shyness bhi ati hai" Rithwik says giggling.
"OMG is she blushing?" Karan asks giggling.
"guys stop it" she closes her face with her palm.
"arre guys meri biwi ko tang mat karo" Siddharth says wrapping his hand around her shoulder.
Roshni smiles hearing him address her as 'meri biwi'.
"toh Roshni kaise laga tumari 'Sidu' ki surprise" Rithwik asks only to receive a glare from her.
"oops sorry Sidu bolna toh tumari copyright hai na" he winks.
"Rithwik" she says sternly hiding her smile.
She shakes her head, "I really loved the surprise, pata nahin kaise kiya isne...but wait how did you get all the pictures and of course the clips in NYC when we were cycling and during the arcade?" she asks.
They all smile mischievously.
"well there are a lot of hands in this surprise starting from these three idiots to" Siddharth says,
"to" Roshni asks confused.
"us" she hears a voice behind her and turns to find that Asha was holding phone straight to her face with.
"who is it?" Roshni asks as she couldn't recognize.
Asha then turns the phone making Roshni face them.
"OMG tum log" she gets surprised.
And yes it was Yash, Sam and Kritika.
"y'all" she shouts.
"yes hum so actually kya hua tha" Yash says.
They all take chance to explain Siddharth's plan while he stands their silently looking at his wife, his love.
Flashback.
Bangalore
Roshni was dozed of while Siddharth was in the study.
"hmm yehi teek rahega" he thinks.
He then calls up Yash.
"hey Yash"
"hi Sid"
"bhai ache se sun lena okay, see as you already know I'm gonna propose her i'm in need of your help. What I want you to do is whatever pictures everyone has of Roshni and me send them to me, hamari bachpan ki, our first meeting, our school times like I want everything...aur Roshni ke ghar pe bhi they'll have get that also"
"but wahaan kaise"
"get help from Sam and Kritika na"
"can I tell them"
"yeah no problem bas Roshni shouldn't know anything, you know mehi Sam ko call kar de thi hun...you don't waste time get to work"
"okay bro all the best bye"
"bye".
He then cuts the call and video calls up Samaira.
And after the normal conversations finishes, he explains his plan to him.
"wah jeeju..." she says only to be cut off by him.
"Sam yaar please don't call yeh jeeju and all. We are off the same age" he giggles.
"okay Sid anyways that's an awesome plan, Roshni will surely love it"
"she will na"
"of course she will, hmm so you want me to get all the picture na"
"yes...and yeah wait if i'm not wrong Roshni ki ek diary thi, she had named it SidNi diary if you can get it, that'll be superb"
"SidNi diary" she think, "yes i've seen it once, i'll surely get it"
"thanks for the help Sam, lag ja kaam pe time nahi hai"
"sure jeeju" she says making Siddharth stare at her,
"sure Sid bye"
"bye".
Flashback Ends.
"that's how you got the diary entry" Roshni asks.
"yeah I clicked a picture of it and sent it to Siddharth" Samaira says casually.
"toh iska matlab you all read it, shit" she cries under the fact that all her friends and cousins read her writing when she was drooling over 'her man'.
"oh god" she hides her face in her palm blushing as all start to tease her quoting the words from her entry.
"his never ending intoxicating smile"
"woh novel"
"woh kya my man"
"aur haan not to forget kuch kuch hota hai" they all start to sing making her go red.
Siddharth chuckles seeing her blushing.
He opens his arms and in a second she hides her face in his chest.
"awww" they all say making her move closer to him.
"arre yaar so much PDA from this couple" Rithwik says, "hum kuch karen Ashu" he nudges Asha.
And it was her time to blush slightly.
"yeah yeah hamari 'PDA' toh video me hi yeh log dekh chuke hain" Asha says hugging Rithwik.
"aww" the others go.
They all crack up laughing including Roshni, who stood beside Siddharth.
"how did you get the clips from college?" she asks.
"woh tumari Rithu haine he got it"
"oh" she says.
Asha looks at her watch and says,
"oh god Siddharth, look at the time..."
He looks at the time,
"its 7 pm so soon, we have to go there na"
"where" Roshni asks.
"surprise baby" he winks.
Yash, Sam and Kritika cut the call.
Siddharth moves behind Roshni and ties a blindfold.
"what, Siddharth yeh kya karre ho" she says trying to remove the knot.
"Roshni" he hugs her from the back, placing his lips on her ear, calming her down.
"barosa karti ho mujhpe" he asks,
"apne se zyaada" she replies with a smile.
"then just do as I say" he says trying to lift her.
"Siddharth what are you doing" she shouts.
"kya main apni biwi ko apni baanhon mein utaane ki koshish karouin" he then lifts her.
"Siddharth" she shouts.
"kya, i'll walk, chodo mujhe"
"nope"
"please na baba"
"arre agar chup nahi hogi toh surprise nahi dunghi"
"okay" she pouts wrapping her arms around him and resting her head in his shoulder.
"that's like a good girl" he pokes her nose while walking through the doors.
AshWik and Karan go in front followed by Siddharth carrying Roshni in his arms.
Everyone present in the corridor admires SidNi.
Few girls were drooling over Siddharth, few passed some giggles which didn't go unnoticed by Roshni.
Roshni wraps him more to her showing that he is hers.
Siddharth smiles at her act.
The gang enter the elevator.
Siddharth puts Roshni down.
"where are we? surprise batao na" she asks,
"shh sabr rak baba" Siddharth says hugging her from the back.
As they reach the top floor Siddharth guides her way out.
As she exits the elevator cool breeze touches her making her smile.
"Siddharth where are we?" she asks but doesn't get any answer from.
"Siddharth?" she calls out for him but still doesn't gets any reply.
"Roshni" she hears him but the sound was low.
"Siddharth where are you?" she asks bringing her hands upto the blindfold.
She slowly unties the knot removing the blindfold.
Her eyes adjusts to the environment.
As she looks around she finds him, at the far end of the rooftop, standing with a guitar in his hand, under the moonlight just making look like a prince.
She smiles seeing him.
She slowly takes towards him but stops as he gestures to stop.
He closes his eyes taking a deep breathe.
He slowly starts to play the guitar with an old melody.
Her eyebrows creases together thinking on what is playing.
Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Me, Khayal Aata Hai
He sings making her smile.

As he finishes this line his signals her to move forward and she takes a step towards him, even he takes a step forward.
He then changes the tune for which she makes a known face.

Both take a few other steps standing close to each other.
He changes the tune to one of her favorite making her smile knowing what he's gonna do next.
She takes in deep breathe and starts.

She closes her eyes with a smile.

Her voice and his music was a pure bliss to hear.

She opens her eyes and looks at him lovingly.

Roshni finds this one too and smiles as he starts.

He opens his arms wide making her crashing into his chest.

She finishes again crashing into his muscular chest.
He places the guitar in the table near him and takes her into a bone crushing hug.
"I love this Siddharth...being in your arms..." she says.
"and I love this, having you in my arms forever and ever, protecting you, safe guarding you, taking care of you and of course loving you...I Love You"
"I Love You too baby" she smiles looking into his chocolate brown eyes.
"baby" he chuckles, "jaanu" he pokes her nose tightening his grip on her.
"toh aaj ke liye surprises khatam ya abhi kuch baaki hai" she asks.
"haan kuch aur bhi hai but you have to wait for it baby" he says checking his watch.
"hmm" she hides herself in him.
Making him smile yet again, and ruffles her hair.
"aur kitni der" she whispers.
"aur ek.......aoi" he takes her near the railing.
"Siddharth" she whispers in fear,
"main hoon na" he comforts and hugs her from the back.
"and in five...four...three...two...one" he whispers.
And BOOM.
Hundreds of thousands of golden, silver, red, green, pink, and blue sparks, exploded together into the evening sky.
Amongst the sparks, words were formed, which read
"I LOVE YOU Roshu"
"how is it?" he whispers placing his lips on her ear.
But there was no response from her.
"Roshni, you didn't like it kya?" he said turning her.
Only to his surprise there were tears rolling down her cheeks with a smile in her face.
"Roshni kya hua, why are you crying baby?" he gets tensed while wiping her tears
"Roshni kya hua?" he asks cupping her cheeks.
And suddenly she throws herself to him, circling her arms around his neck, hiding her in him.
"baby what happen?" he caresses her back, pulling her more closer to him.
"nothing" she pulls herself from his chest and looks at him, at his eyes filled with immense love and affection for her.
"I love you too meri Sidu" she says holding him in his waist.
"toh yeh kyun baby" he asks taking the lone tear from her cheek.
"you didn't like it kya?" he asks again.
"nahi bhuddhu" she hits him on his forehead making him smile.
"I loved it, main sirf bhagwaan ko thank kar rahi thi, for having you in my life..." she smiles.
"main dar gayi thi yaar, mujhe laga you didn't like it" he pouts.
"awww" she says looking at his pout,
"I loved it and I Love You" she confesses yet again.
"I Love You too" he pecks her forehead.
"teri yeh surprise khatam hogaiya ye phir abhi kuch baaki hai?"
"nahi baby kuch baaki hai and i'm not going to tell you it" he pokes her nose with his.
"batao na please" she makes a pout making him snicker.
"nahi baby...agar surprise bataonghi toh surprise ka kya matlab hogi hai na so you have to wait"
"okayy" she says, "toh"
"toh?"
"ab kya surprise hai" she asks.
"ab" he smiles, "challo" he says takes her pulling her hand towards the elevator again.

Yes he went through a lot of trouble but he can do anything for his Roshni.
And there are more surprise for her in the up coming chapters.
