Well many say he went to vanwaas after the 1st round i.e. on the second round. Don't know about consummation, but she was the last one to have his baby. His eldest will always be Iravan

In the epic there was no one year rule and Arjun was sent to exile for reaching out to armour room, when Draupadi was with Yudhishtir

Aside it didn't happen immidiately after marriage.

They stayed for a year in Kampilya after marriage, returned to Hastinapur, partition happened, they built the Indraprasth out of Khandavprastha, at least 3-4 years after the Marriage.

So choosing after marriage ritual has nothing to do with Exile

That seems to be the dialogue that only the husband for the year could enter that given year so that would continue throughout no special preference to one

Arjuna went to exile because he breached their privacy. But why should she have chosen Arjuna instead?? I don't see any reason for that.

Tbh I'm glad that they didn't show Draupadi receiving Virginity boon, for me it was a BS. Why should they expect their wife to be a virgin.
