Why? Cultural differences and diversity. Our weddings are very simple. Traditionally (like a 100 years back) it used to be just handing over a garment to the girl in the presence of elders and taking her home. That's it. Now we have more elaborate stuff. And atleast beautiful nadaswaram recitals.
