For a show with nothing much to boast in terms of trps as were expected ( even tho bajaj gave a rise to the trps but it wasnt as probably what the channel expected ) to get hold of an actor whose previous char was a household name on the same channel by the same ph its pretty obvious for them to use the reference to tap and bring in that audience to the show that were previously hooked to that char- actor combo ...the same ref is done in BW fairly normal marketing strategy if the grouse here is this why it wasnt done before or for the others in the show well then thats fair then and a diff discussion all together.

Do u mean to say the face is important not the character that u play and so the channel wants to promote the face not the character that he is brought to play?

As far as I remember Mr. BAJAJ never needed big promotions like this. And nowhere is ravan Kumar and bajaj similar in traits

So I think disco is right in saying that the character is trying to blend in with the actor

Haha Ravan Kumar ke liye show nahi dekha dost. Rishabh Bajaj ke liye dekha tha. A characte that had class is made to look so loud and downgraded hurts
