CHAPTER-20
"Mom, call Viraj tomorrow ...I wanna meet him", said Minni to Babita and left to her room without escaping any other word out from her mouth.
Babita couldn't believe her ears. She was on cloud nine.
She sent a silent prayer to god thanking for sparing Minni some wisdom and convincing her to say 'yes' for Viraj.

Mickey was driving at a high rate. His eart was pounding harder with every passing second.
"Mickey ....let's check there", Preet said as she instructed him.
"No.... we should check all the bars first. He must be there", said Mickey reluctantly.
The following night at 1am Mickey received a call from Neil's dad asking him wheter Neil is with him as Neil had not been home since day. In order to not panic him , Mickey lied.
"Yes Uncle. Sorry to not inform you in advance. He is with us and we would partying this night. See you tomorrow ", had said Mickey to pacify him.

With every passing minute Mickey was becoming more and more restless. Doubts kept crumbling in his mind about his plan of Mineil's meeting. He understood something worst has happened and he kept cursing himself for it.
"Gosh!! Neil where are are you. I am sorry. I should not have pushed you both. I know I am all responsible for this. ", He wondered.
Mickey had also called Minni up to know his whereabouts about there was no useful information. Minni told him about their fight and that she has not seen him after that.
Meanwhile Preet kept googling out more and more names and locations of newly established bars in the city. They had been searching for him but there was no news yet.
Finally they landed in a bar settled on the outskirts of the city. Their restless eyes began to search for Neil in every guest present there.
They searched every nook and corner for him till their eyes landed on man sitting quietly on a table with a glass. The entire table was filled with bottles of wine. He looked so shattered as if somebody has taken his only reason to live from him.
Preet and Mickey stepped closer to him and their eyes remained widened. It was Neil. It seemed as if someone has sucked his soul.
Mickey rushed to him. He made him stand straight and insisted him to come with them.
Preet remained stunned for a while. She had never seen Neil before in such condition. He had given up drinking long ago after his mom's death but today she couldn't believe the Neil in front of her. Mickey could see the same emotionally fragile Neil who died long ago with the funeral of his mom.
"Neil ...come with me", Mickey insisted.
"Shut upp!!...what the hell you two are doing here ", he shouted.
Everyone around began looking at them.
"Neil...let's go.....everyone is tensed about you", Mickey said considering his dad.
"Shut your f**king chap off .....there is no one waiting for me"....
"Don't you guys know it's all over. She is getting married to that bl**dy Viraj....don't u guys know that....", stammered Neil as he sobbed.
Tears rolled down Mickey cheeks too.
He cursed the moment he planned to get them together. He somehow managed to get Neil at his home. Night passed miserably for them.
Neil kept getting nightmares in the effect of alcohol while for Minni her nightmares had turned her reality.
After a sleepless night, she quickly got up and soon managed to rush to the office. Her eyes couldn't wait anymore to see Neil safe and sound.
On the other hand was Neil who could not even open his eyes properly.
She quickly rushed and directly banged into his cabin.....for the first time she rushed directly to his cabin in the absence of any fake cover of reasons.
But her heart broke in pieces when she encountered Neil's absence.she noticed that Mickey had not joined the office too.
Her heart sank. She became more restless thinking about Neil's safety.
She had called Mickey enormous times but there was no answer.
After several attempts to suppress her anxiety she failed. She finally asked Preet about the whereabouts.
"Is he okay?", Minni asked directly.
"Are you serious?", asked Preet as she glared her.
"Preet please."
"Come on minni. Stop lying to yourself atleast . Do you really even care or you really just used him up....", mocked Preet.
"Preet", Minni shouted.
"What?... do u even know in what hell you have thrown him into" said Preet as she turned around.
"Leave it Preet. It's worth less to make back hearts understand anything. They just don't know what emotions are", Said Mickey after suddenly emerging from nowhere.
"Where is Neil Mickey", asjed Minni finally after losing her temper. "Why didn't he come? Is he okay?".
"In hell"....Mickey shouted back and calmed back down seeing the crowd around.
" after mom's death you have been the first girl I had relied upon emotionally. You have been the first girl he has given all his heart to. And what you gifted him in return.__agony of lifetime. Never that you gave it a thought why I always insisted you to be with him because I saw that Spark in you.
After a decade I have been seeing him so happy and mind you that was all because of you but you disappointed as and return. You Shattered all hopes. You know he has decided to leave the country forever....us...forever"Said Mickey and left.
Mini stayed shocked .... surprised and stunned. Tears kept rolling down her cheeks.
Somehow the day passed. Dusk enveloped the sky. The bright shinning sun suddenly disappeared just like Minnie's hopes and happiness.
As soon as she reached home she rushed to her room without even looking at the Babita. She called Neil enormous times but there was no answer. She finally texted him up.
MINNI: are you okay? After impatiently staring at the screen for hours she gave up.
She decided to go to meet him to check his whereabouts. She ran out of her room when suddenly she was stopped by Babita.
"Where are you going so late?", she asked.
"Please yaar mom. Please don't ask anything. "
"By the way Viraj shall be coming tomorrow. I had a talk to him and he informed that he is quite busy today but would surely be here tomorrow ", informed HS interfering into the conversation to stop any further disarguments between mom and daughter.
Mini was about to argue further when all of a sudden her phone vibrated . She looked at it blindly till her eyes widened. It was a message probably a reply. A message from Neil. her heart stopped. Moment freezed . She ran to her room back. She quickly opened the text and it said:
NEIL: what do you want now? (He asked very directly)
MINNI: A meeting.
MINNI: NOW
NEIL: same here.
NEIL: Let's end it all at once.
NEIL: I'll be waiting to end it all where it was all started.
Tears rolled down her cheeks reading his harsh texts but she made her mind to let it all her agony go at once.
She rushed out of the room and informed her mum that she would be back.
"Minni...ruk jaa...ur dad will leave you wherever u want. It's too late.", said Babita in concern.
"Come on mom. I have bee living here far before you both arrived. I am going to Preet's place. Kindly don't worry. I am not a kid anymore. Just hand over the steering of my life to me. I know to handle it all. Please....please....stop interfering ", said Minni irritated.
"Minni....is it a way to talk.", asked Babita in anger.
" yes I am very polite way to talk as of now. If you want me to make that Viraj tomorrow then let me go now.", warned Minni and left without wasting any more time.
As soon as she got into a car her mind stucked.
"Where to go?", she thought. She replayed neil's words in her mind. "the place where everything was started"
She first thought to go to the airport where they first met and diary got exchanged but then she remembered their first conversation was in office. Then she remembered that her first wish was fulfilled in that club. She remembered that it was Mysore where she realised that she has actually fallen for him. She got confused. "What's that one place where everything was started but left incomplete." she began scratching her head hard.
She began replaying everything again from the very beginning. All her wishes and how it were all fulfilled.
Suddenly her mind striked at her wish of seeing the rain of stars.
She remembered it was then when all the odds attained power. It was then when many things were left untold between then and there it all began. She remembered how Neil wanted to confess his heart out but failed and how she told about her promise to her parents to him and it all even began there when she confessed her heart out there itself.
She geared the car up at 80kmph .
Steerings in hand kept moving faster than usual .Tears kept rolling down her cheeks continuously and within an hour she was there.
She climbed out of the car.
Admist of the starry night her white silken knee length gown kept fluttering with the flow of wind breezes.
"Neil....", she shouted her lungs out.
Neil had already been standing there facing the sky.
Minni remembered the day she had proposed him . She remembered how he had been standing the same way even that day but the only difference is that she could not run and hug the same way had done.
Neel turned around.
"Neil..", see murmured with her red teary eyes and stepped towards him. Her Restless eyes finally attained peace.
"Yes...why you wanted to meet?" Asked Neil in nonsense tone.
Mini could not say anything further. She gasped and in no second she hugged Neil tightly with all her will. Tears kept rolling down her cheeks but this time they were all being absorbed by Neil's warmth.
Neil stunned at her sudden behaviour. He surely have not been expecting that but somewhere he was merrily peaceful . At first he was very determined to have come to detach all the strings but somewhere he could not say anything . His own heart betrayed him. He held her back ...tightly...calmly...
Minni let all her heart out....she felt as if after years she has been home. She sobbed.
Neil rubbed her back lovingly again.
" what you want Minni?", he whispered while holding her.
"You....I want you Neil....
I want us...
Tonight and forever...
I wanted all with you..and only you.", she whispered back.
Neil smiled. After days he had been seeing his little cute innocenct Minni out of that fake shell of arrogance and stubbornness she had been carrying since days.
"You know what...", minni continued. ."today when when you said meet me where everything was started my mind automatically recalled everything I realised that in the process of falling in love with you, i found myself. U made me meet myself Neil. U made it...."
Neil smiled...."you know...with every fulfilled wish I gave up my fears one by one.
I have been living as someone who was not even me since long long ago but today it's just me...."

"Nd I am not some confused soul. I am willing to stay by your side...and sure about it...always", affirmed Minni denying Neil's harsh words he had said during their fight.

"I missed you", admitted Neil.
"I missed you too. U have no idea how much I have been dying to see you". said Mini as she got out of his arms and cupped his face looking straight into his soulful eyes which were a proof of the longingness both had been going through.
"I love you Neil.", said Minni as she took his lips in hers.
Neil responded back with equal vigor. Soon their lips and soon their souls immersed into each others' passion.
"But what about Viraj." Neel asked confused.
"It's just us", said Minni getting irritated why sudden mention of his name.
She catches the gasp and his lips once again.
The very next moment they were on the bonnet of the car.

Her heart speeded up until at start racing and she tingle all over her stomach flipping inside of her as neel spreads his fingers all over the side of her face to hold her tighter.
"Forgive me!", Minni murmured.
Slowly and a little faster he grabbed her hand kissing down her arms to her neck....nuzzling her there and biting her shoulder so she gasped.
Their hearts were beating in Unison. And the very next moment they were on the roof of the car covered with thin black sheet usually used to cover and protect cars lost in each others arms and passion.
"Forgive me", said Neil.
Mini shake her head a little and pulled back.
" you will have to do to a better than that", teased Minni.
Growling in mock frustration Neil pushed her back leaning his weight on her.
The pressure between her legs was almost unbearable and the strength of his lips made her shiver. His hands touched her through her top and then Beneath it.
Neil kept kissing her slowly, quickly, torturously with open mouth.
He suddenly pulled back. Minni growled in irritation
"Forgiven", he asked.

The entire night they spent half naked half covered in the thin sheet in under the stars and skies in each other's arms.
