Wow. So all that supporting Vidyut against star kids for not being invited was just to bash star kids and Disney? Nobody really showed their support where it mattered? Sometimes it does feel like people use outsiders to just vent out on star kids and their privileges. If you take out star kids and nepotism people are not really bothered about outsiders much

yes I remember about the controversy but I for sure missed when the supposed movie was going to be out or which day the teaser would be out??? ...it wasnt coz of lack of interest...but I heard no teaser release news whatsoever..if I had not visited this forum today I would not even have known such a teaser is out..I am thesedays coming regularly coz of sheep game and also IF is like drop in the ocean for movie goers...

Even so many industry people supported him , sab bas bashing mein lage rahe. I doubt people even bothered to remember the name of his movie, trailer dekhna toh dur ki baat hai. I thought the outrage might work in his favour. Ulta ho gaya.

I can speak only for myself,i am all for supporting outsiders but only if the movie is my type.I don't care for action but i was interested in laila majnu so I watched that.

While there is some lip service, but a lot of improvements have come in in corporate companies to tackle the abuse. We are not there yet, but we are trying to make work a better place for the employees in a lot many places.

This is where your and my vichaardhaaras diverge.

In India, unless there is pressure, we would have NO hopes of any improvement in Bollywood. Think of the outrage (again, criticism and NOT the death/rape threats) as this pressure. The threats are a nuisance that are hurting the critics as well (so stars can say dekho dekho ALL you critics look at yourself in the mirror, this is the real YOU; and things like that).

Chalta hai. Beejness mein hota hai. Cinema mein bhi hon do. Is acceptable to some, but not to all.
