What if she actually tests positive?

Imagine the horrible gossip that would be discussed for weeks to come.

"OMG! Amitabh and Rekha test positive for COVID at the same time. Jaya tests negative. Get the hint!" So may be to avoid all this she didn't let them test her or enter her house.

80% of the cases are asymptomatic. So even if Rekha gets the virus, she would do just fine in all likelihood. Of course, if her health deteriorates, she herself would get to the hospital to get some treatment.

Aren't her guard and house help already tested COVID positive?

Then why did she refuse?

Did she fear that the testing equipments used by BCM would not be hygienic enough and/or not sterilized properly?

Is that why she intended to go for a private test?

Or does she simply not go through the procedure just because she doesn't want to?

If she comes out, there will be photographs of her. But we never saw them. She is a recluse. She must have been under quarantine even otherwise.

Yeah that is true...

But now when her guard and domestic workers have tested positive of virus, her previous quarantine (if there was one), doesn't matter..

She needs to take the test (private or otherwise) and remain under self quarantine, which I agree, should not be difficult for her provided she is a recluse..

But "testing" and "quarantine" both are must...

It is not like the virus will discriminate between "haves" and "have-nots" or "celebrities" or "common-folks" or rich and poor...

It is not even normal time and situation when anyone can afford to be negligent or lax..
