Eklavya's story is also really sad...his dedication for his teacher was taken advantage of....I never liked Drona's character. He is responsible for making Arjun into a spoiled kid with major ego issues.

I also cried seeing Abhimanyu's demise...When Karna gave him the final blow, my heart literally broke 💔 Abhimanyu had absolutely nothing to do with this and poor kid was collateral damage. I heard that Duryodhan's son was also brutally killed like Abhimanyu and his son wanted stay away from war and violence

I agree! Drona was a selfish teacher! Eklavya's talent was wasted....

Yes! Duryodhan's son Lakshman was killed by Abhimanyu itself while entering the chakrayiuh... he tried stopping Abhimanyu but lost his life (they played fair, no foul play)

There was one question I missed and I can't remember what it was....but the bheem one I remembered...I have read that story. True, of all her husbands, Bheem loved/cared about draupadi the most. He is the one who truly avenged her. The rest were only fighting for the throne not for her honor.

Draupadi too had realised it, before dying she prayed that in their next life Bheem gets to be the eldest one! He was the only one wanting to stand up and protect Draupadi during the cheerharan but atlast had to bow down because of Yudhishthir. He went to kill Kichaka only for Draupadi! He is my fav Pandava...

Karna is a true example of tragedy hero but the thing is even Karna had major shortcomings. He could've stopped the cheerharan but chose to stay quiet because he wanted his own revenge of being rejected by draupadi. If Karna had spoken up, Duryodhan maybe would have stopped as he always listened to his friend. Karna always said that he felt indebted to Dury and that's why he stood with him but he should have guided his friend on the right path

I've never heard that omen....In fact I feel like Arjun is one of the most common names for boys especially for Indian-American boys because it's easy to pronounce. There were a couple of Arjuns at my college

Yes! That's what I like about Mahabharat, everyone has flaws...

Karna had major ego issues...

But still him being thrown down isn't justified...

Actually if you see Kunti's story, it is talking about teenage/out-of-wedlock pregnancy which is still relevant today. As for Karna, I think instead of being stuck on the fact that he was abandoned, he should have taken pride that such loving parents took him in. But, I have a friend who is adopted and she has always expressed this confusion of knowing her biological parents but at the same time not wanting to know since she considers her adoptive parents as her family and does not want to hurt them. It's a complicated situation and I think only kids in that situation could understand

I feel it would have been the best option for her... she could have cared for him and be his mother... she could later tell him her problem... Karna was understanding, he would have accepted her happily... he even promised her that if Arjun loses his life he would accept her as his mother and she was going always going to have 5 sons. He even promised her that he wasn't going to kill her other sons...

He was a good person much better than Arjun I feel! Krishna too knew it and had proved it to Arjun... but fate had been cruel to Karna most of the times!

I agree! We normal kids will never know how does it feel to be adopted and still know your biological parents...

Yes! He made Karna feel real! His angst, misery, selfless behavior, ego was outstandingly portrayed!👏

I won't say white washed but portrayed him in a better light...

In reality if you read the real Mahabharat you for sure are going to feel his pain...

He wanted to kill Arjun with the Bramhashastra to avenge the humiliation he faced throughout his life... Arjun to wanted to kill him so no big deal!
